THE STORY THUS FAR.....THE END are an unruly band of hooligans residing in the western regions of NY state. They have been attempting to terrorize the north eastern regions of the east coast since 1996. Founded by first mate and lead vocalist REVERAND SIN in a futile attempt to prove to kids that punk is not just fun and games. THE END formed at the last minute to play a show with the short lived spikey haired drunk punk band THE CRONIES. From the remains of Reverand Sins old band DONKEY PUNCH JR a booty,house,hip-hop, punk band! (what the fuck?) and with bass player NICODEMUS (of Rochesters first peace punk band REFUSE RESIST), guitar player LITTLE GHOULIE (rev.sins former girlfreind and former guitar player of local all girl garage rock band WHITE COTTEN PANTIES), drummer IGGY (other wise known as MAX WEINBERG), and RUDIE (from local ska band THE PROFFESIONALS) on bass. This first show was a disaster for THE END, soon everything fell apart. But Reverand Sin would not quit (He knew with a name like THE END the show couldnt end!) there was a job still to be done. Half a year later THE END were back ready and well rehearsed with new drummer UNCLE PAULIE (whom was found one night under the pale full moon lurking in the alleys with a blood dripping straight razor in hand.) new guitar player PADDY MC MAYHEM formaly of THE CRONIES came with his blazingaxe and execesivly large mohican. it was now about time to record something!!!!! so the fellows set about to record a demo. the result being a 6 song, furious fast raw anarco punk/HC recording wich came out in the spring of 97, only 200 copies titled "DEVOID OF HEARTS" featuring songs "WWIII", "FIRELINE", "FUCK YOU", "BAG-O-DOPE", "POLICE STATE", "CHAOS" and "FUCK YOU"
the course was now set and nothing would stand in the way not even the continual loss of bass players(but this was a curse started at the dawn of punk with the death off "Saint Sid") nicodemus left the band to join the army, the next bass player DIRTY DAN is now playing guitar for grindcore/powerviolence band A DEATH BETWEEN SEASONS. next up was crasshole JOE BONES of THE CRONIES and local goth band PROCESSION OF FAITH who left for the mountains of Utah? Then came ANGEL FUCK of local black metal band NOCTURNAL TRINITY whom left for a bizarre calling to heavens above, but not without first helping record THE ENDS first 7 inch"ep" a split with A GLOBAL THREAT from boston. the tracks being: "no one cares" a song about the feeling of hatred and yet equality of all living on the streets bums, vets and punx. and then "CHAOS" a song about the world in an apocalyptic state of turmoil, this nifty little ditty has apparently turned into The Ends token anthem, for some god awful reason kids cant get enough of the song. next on the roster of destruction came spikey haired street punk GLUE ROTT. from there The End felt complete and compeled to return to the studio where they recorded the 4 song ep "NATURAL PATHS TO DESTRUCTION" containing 2 new songs "THE WATCHERS", "HELLO-KITTY VS. ASTRO BOY", also rerecordings of the songs "WWIII" and "BAG-O-DOPE". after getting this new record pressed the chaps felt it was time to take the next natural step..........TOUR!!!. they then began setting up a US tour which was supposed to be with POXY from seattle whom cancelled at the last minute. So the end was shootin solo. they then took off in the summer of 2000 for a fun filled tour playing with tons of great bands such as MISERY, DS-13,THE CASUALTIES, DISSASOCIATE, POXY, THE RIFFS, SCORNED.Unfotunatly they ended there tour early due to personal problems and returned home cancelling there east coast dates..on return the band broke up for a period of time. they tried to reform with an all new line up with only REV.SINN and UNCLE PAULIE for a show the UK SUBS but things all fell short pretty quick after that. shortly after The End recruited bass player "PUKE" from local oi band THE INEBRAITED the jolly, stinky, drunk fuck could hold a bass like he could hold his liquor. GLUE ROTT then returned from california this time to pick up the axe and go blazing away.THE END is currently following white lines into the studio with new bass player GREEDY MC MAKEOUT from local streetpunk band THE MANICS to record more raw, anarchopunk tracks hopefully to be released in the spring of 2003. Maybee if we are unlucky these bastards will return to the road to terrorize your town. So with a disgust for mankind and love of punk THE END will continually pummel through this world destroying everything in their path until the streets belong to the rightous man once again. |
