Step 1: Insert an email-this-page, send-a-link, pass-it-on, or recommend-this-site script into the Web pages of your site that you'd like visitors to email to other people. This technique is known as viral marketing. If you insert this script into Web pages containing your press releases, the technique is known as viral PR.

Step 3: Distribute your press release for free by submitting it to PRWeb          h
ttp://www.prweb.com/. Please note that you must format your press release in accordance with PRWeb's guidelines to ensure acceptance by that Web site.

Step 4: Submit your Web site information to the major search engines to be listed by them.

Search engine submission can be done for free with Submit Corner's submission engine at the following Web page:

This can also be done by using Microsoft's bCentral submission service (
http://www.bcentral.com/products/tb/default.asp). This is a fee-based service, but it is much more precise and results-oriented than free search engine submission services.

Step 5: Create an email newsletter that has automated subscribe and unsubscribe capabilities, and is free to your Web site visitors. The following services can provide you with this capability:
