As the Lord has me working on the "Signs of the Times" web section, He tells me which news headlines from around the world to gather, and then speaks to me about them as I'm working on the page.
China has been suffering severely as of late re: the bird flu epidemic. The other day they had a toxic spill that contaminated their water supply. Today an earthquake in central China. As of this moment I do not have a large prophetic word regarding China. The Lord told me the following short statements:
On November 16th, the newspaper article's headline read: "China Confirms 3 Human Bird Flu Cases". The Lord said unto me,
"This is judgment upon China for their
persecution of My Church there. It will get much worse."
On November 20th, the news headline re: China read, "Chinese Christians Forced
To Worship In Secret". Right after President Bush left their country, a kidnapped pastor was released. The November 21 headline read, "Eight Imprisoned Chinese Church Leaders Released With Joy; Kidnapped Pastor Released After Bush Leaves". The Lord told me He is expecting a much greater response.
On November 24th, a toxic slick flowed into a major city in China. Their water was contaminated. This, He said,"....represents the ugliness of their hearts."
This morning, at 4:48 a.m. I was trying to turn off my computer and get some sleep. The Lord had me check my email, which always has 5 headline news stories at the bottom of the log-in page. This time the headline read, "Earthquake in Central China Kills 14".
The Lord spoke to me again via Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit said, "President George Bush is a
prophetic messenger from God." Jesus then continued, "I sent him to China with a prophetic decree from
heaven: "allow My saints the freedom to gather in My name". The Father finished the Word. He spoke, "And you know that when My prophet then leaves, judgment follows."
