'Johan & Pirlouit' comics have been published in Turkey under the title Küçük Prens (Petty Prince) in unlicensed, traced black&white editions. The first weekly Küçük Prens comics magazine was published in 1960 by Bilgi Yayınları. 12 adventures of Johan have been published with numerous reprints over the years in Turkey. A tentative list of publishers of weekly Küçük Prens comics is as such: Bilgi Yayınları (1960, 1961), Yurdagül Yayınları (1964), Bilge Şakrak (1965, 1965-1966, pocket size: 1968), Şilliler family (1972). In the 1980s, the Şilliler family also published bi-weekly or monthly 'volumes'. |
