On our first stop in Costa Rica we went on a Canopy Tour in Monteverde. The tour had the highest and the longest cables in Costa Rica. At one point were were on a cable that was 1400 feet long and 400 feet high!! |

We spent Christmas of 2002 in the Cloudforest of Monteverde with some great people from the states (above, left) and had fun hiking around the area. We even saw a family of Spidermonkeys. If you look really close you can see one in the background-above. They blend in well in their natural habitat!! |

As we approached Puerto Viejo on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica, we noticed endless plantations of bananas.Each bunch of bananas was covered with a blue material, probably used to prevent infestations of insects. It was interesting to see how they were produced. |

|
The last couple days of our trip included a stay in this bungalow on the beach in the Caribbean. |
