| Don't ya love this color. These pictures were taken riding south of Caney Lake going from east to west on La 126 across the drainage which made for great bike riding and lots of bridges to take pictures of Cypress and brown water. Yes, there are alligators down there. |
| The altimeter on my GPS said my trip had ranged from 200 ft (ATG) to 315 ft. Above The Gulf. (Its a Louisiana thang) My ears were popping and I do believe I had a touch of altitude sickness. I did restrain from calling base camp about the matter. |
| This river, the Dona something seems to flow south in a pretty big stream then breaks up into smaller ones, like a delta, leaving islands and swamps. More on this later. |
