It was like a pot pie but of course filled with meat and gravy. Very good. They fill it with whatever you want, chicken, lamb, you name it. It was a laid back day. We all needed it after a busy weekend. We had to take Beth and her kids to the airport since she had family she was going to visit in Sydney. On the way there we stopped at a childrend's play place. It was just like Discovery Zone, where the kids could climb and play in the ball pits and such.
We had lunch there and I tried a meat pie. It was like a pot pie but of course filled with meat and gravy. Very good. They fill it with whatever you want, chicken, lamb, you name it.
On to the airport. Dez was so thrilled to have her car packed with kids. ha ha. I took a picture and cut everyones head off..wanna seee?
I walked over to the strip mall for a bit. They have a store called Big W which is Wal-Mart in disguise. I walked through and took it all in. It was about half the size of a regular one but with the signs and logos...it was a wal-mart. They have Targets here too. After we dropped Beth off, we headed home and grabbed some Maccas (MacDonalds) for a bite. They have Burger King too but it's called Hungry Jacks and there is a story to that. Burger King was going to set up shop here in Australia and found that a small hambuger shop already had the name Burger King. Well of course they made him an offer he couldn't refuse for the right to have the name, but the man got greedy and asked for an obscene amount of money. So Burger King dropped the offer and when with the name Hungry Jacks. Everything is the same, right down to the logo. And the man who lost all that money? Well.....His name was Jack....Ha Ha Ha!!
Oh I have had so much fun here. I can't believe that tomorrow will be my last day. It was worth it all to be here. I'm so glad I came.
