FAMILY DATA: Born: 24 May, 1844, Tazewell Co., VA; Son of Andrew Shortridge And Sarah Brown; Wife: Clarinda Sellards Scalf Shortridge; married 8 October, 1869, in Meeker Co., MN. Their children - Florence, Ellen, W.E., J.J., Elsie, Emma Jane. He relocated to Nevis, MN, ca. 1886, and took a common law wife, Hanna Hunter, her children - Derral, Levi.

RESIDENCE: Tazewell Co., Va.; 1850 at Brushy Fork, Pike Co., KY; 1860 at Mouth of Card also in Pike Co.; Dassel, Meeker Co., MN; and Nevis, Hubbard Co., MN.

DEATH: 16 April, 1934, at Nevis, burial in Lakeview Cemetery.
