This portion of my website is dedicated to Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity
Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity was founded Thursday, November 27, 1919 on the campus of Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College, now Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.  The main objective of Kappa Kappa Psi is to provide services to the university band program, director of bands, music department, and community through fundraisers and services projects.  Our ten Founding Fathers are "The Most Honorable Big Brothers,"  William A. Scrogss, A. Frank Martin, Raymond D. Shannon, Clyde Haston, Clayton Soule, Carl Stevens, William Coppedge, Asher Hendrickson, Dick Hurst, and Iron H. Nelson.  Let me not forget our "Guiding Spirit"  Bohumil Makovsky (Boh).  Since 1919, there have been over 260 chapters installed and over 150,000 brothers initiated into Kappa Kappa Psi.  I would also like to acknowledge our sisters, Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority, established in 1946 in the campus of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.  To learn more about Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma, visit our website at http://www.kkytbs.org
