The next step to chi is learning to clear your mind. You must set yourself away from the rest of the world only to live in your own world. Just forget about everything and only focus on the task at hand. This will sound weird but the best way to know if you have your mind cleared perfectly is that you don't even know you have your mind cleared. It's just totally empty. You are not thinking of a thing. Your girlfriend, your boyfriend, your mom, your dad, what you had for dinner, what you had for breakfest, your homework, and other things wont exist on your mind. At this state you are your own person. To clear your mind just leave it blank. Do not talk to yourself at all mentally or physically and don't think of anything except what I tell you to do in future techniques. Don't try to look at a picture of anything in your head. Leave it blank. This will take some practice but sooner or later you will become great at it. Just believe in yourself. This is possible. You do this everytime you turn on the television. Your mind is focused directly at one thing. You can practice watching tv for five minutes. Then turn it off and try to keep your mind the way it was before when you were watching the appliance. Remember these exact words: "Don't think it, just do it." A better way to learn to clear your mind and to actually keep it that way is by "Letting Go". This will come straight out of a book of mine. Anythng on the site that has * on it has come out of a book. It's from the book "The Tiger's Eye The Bird's Fist" by Louise Rafkin. Letting go is vital to your training so try to achieve it.
