Night of the Sentinels, Part 2: The X-Men break into the Mutant Registration Office and destroy the files, but Beast is apprehended while trying to escape. Gyrich and Trask, the renegades responsible for the Sentinels, kidnap Jubilee, hoping she can lead them to the X-Men.

Enter Magneto: While Beast stands trial for the break-in, a powerful mutant 'master of magnetism' attempts to break him from prison. Professor Xavier recognizes his age-old foe Magneto, a maverick who aims to start a mutant war against humanity.

Deadly Reunions: While Professor Xavier attempts to stop Magneto's reign of destruction, Sabretooth - an old foe of Wolverine's - infiltrates the X-Men headquarters.

Captive Hearts: Cyclops and Jean are captured by a band of underground-dwelling mutants called the Morlocks. While the X-Men attempt to rescue them, Wolverine must confront his own strong feelings for Jean and his jealousy toward Cyclops.

Cold Vengance: Wolverine leaves the X-Men to seek solitude in the Canadian wilderness. He finds peace among a group of Baffin Island Eskimos, only to discover that Sabretooth has been stalking him all this time.

Slave Island: Hearing that mutants are welcome on the island nation of Genosha, Professor Xavier sends Storm, Gambit and Jubilee there for a vacation. They soon discover Genosha is a slave camp, where mutants are forced to construct Sentinels.

The Unstoppable Juggernaut: When Xavier's mansion is destroyed and a series of spectacular robberies are committed, the X-Men suspect a giant Russian mutant named Colossus. The real culprit turns out to be Juggernaut, Xavier's evil half-brother who's out for revenge.

The Cure: A Doctor at the Muir Island Mutant Research Center claims to have found a cure for the mutant gene. Rogue flies to the island seeking the 'cure', which turns out to be a plot by the villainous Apocalypse to turn mutants into his evil servants.

Come the Apocalypse: The immortal mutant Apocalypse terrorizes the world with his Horsemen - mutants who journeyed to Muir Island seeking the fictitious cure, but instead became the living embodiments of Famine, Pestilence, War, and Death. Can the X-Men stop them from carrying out Apocalypse's plan to annihilate all humankind?

Days of Future Past, Part 1: A mutant time traveler, Bishop, arrives from the future to stop a traitorous mutant from assassinating Senator Kelly. The problem is, the journey has given him temporary amnesia. Bishop can't remember who the assassin is - except that it's one of the X-Men!

Days of Future Past, Part 2: Bishop identifies the traitor - the mysterious Cajun Gambit! Can the X-Men stop Bishop from destroying Gambit before the assassination can take place? Should they?

The Final Decision: Recovering from their initial battle with the X-Men, Gyrich and Trask have resumed Project Wideawake by creating the ultimate Sentinel: the Master Mold, a walking factory capable of creating Sentinel robots at an assembly-line pace. The X-Men must join with their oldest nemesis, Magneto, to destroy the Master Mold and prevent the extermination of all mutantkind.

Season Two

Till Death Do Us Part, Part 1: As Jean and Cyclops attempt to tie the knot, Mr. Sinister lays traps to destroy the X-Men one by one. Sinister's agent of destruction is none other than poor, tormented Morph who has his own bone to pick with the X-Men.

Till Death Do Us Part, Part 2: Mr. Sinister's efforts to destroy the X-Men appear to be working as he and Morph turn the superheroes against each other. Even Professor X and Magneto foolishly fall into a Sinister trap.

Whatever It Takes: The Shadow King lures Storm home to Mt. Kilimanjaro by 'possessing' her young spiritual son Mjnari. Meanwhile Wolverine appeals to a schizophrenic Morph to rejoin the x-team.

Red Dawn: Omega Red, the ultimate living weapon, is resuscitated by three corrupt generals who want to reclaim and rule the crumbling old Soviet empire. Colossus, with the help of the X-Men, fights to save his country and its fragile freedom from these forces of tyranny.

Repo Man: Vindicator and the Canadian Alpha Flight capture Wolverine. They demand some return on their investment: either he joins their team as originally planned or they repossess his indestructible, adamantium skeleton.

X-Ternally Yours: An ancient tithe and an age old family feud force Gambit to return to his southern roots... where the woman he jilted at the altar waits to enact some sweet revenge.

Time Fugitives, Part 1: Once again, Bishop, an upstart mutant from the 21st century must travel back to the present day to help the X-Men fight a plague that threatens to consume all mutant kind.

Time Fugitives, Part 2: As human mutant relations worsen and the plague rages uncontrollably, Cable, another time traveler, takes matters into his own bionic hand to set the present straight and save his own future world.

A Rogue's Tale: When Mystique, Rogue's foster mother, forces her to revisit her own past, Rogue's overpowering flashbacks drive her from the X-Men and into the waiting arms of Ms. Marvel, Rogue's first enemy. On a psychic plane, an avenging Ms. Marvel and an apologetic Rogue battle it out.

Beauty and the Beast: Against all odds, Dr. McCoy (Beast) falls in love with Carly, a blind patient of his. Carly's father is a rampant mutant hater until the Friends of Humanity thugs kidnap Carly then, only the X-Men can help.

Mojovision: Mojo, a very megalomaniacal, interdimensional network programmer (is there any other kind?) casts the X-Men as his latest all galaxy television hit, when he uses his psychic powers to pit them against one another on a far distant planet. The blood thirsty crowd goes wild and the X-Men's fight to the death will ensure the greedy showman's highest ratings ever.

Reunion, Part 1: A captured Xavier and Magneto are the bait as Mr. Sinister lures the other X-Men to his Savage Land castle. After capturing the team, Sinister will use their genetic material to update Magneto's lowly band of 'mutates' to create his own army of unstoppable mutants.

Reunion, Part 2: Upon touchdown in Savage Land, the X-Men lose all their mutant skills and are immediately captured by Sinister's Nasty Boys. As Sinister begins to DNA imprint Rogue, Wolverine and island native Kazar must stop the procedure and save all their drained and hypnotized companions.

Season Three

Out of the Past, Part 1: Wolverine's former love, a Japanese woman named Yuriko, believes Wolverine caused her father's death. She has turned herself into a living weapon, the cyborg Lady Deathstrike, and has come to America to seek revenge. Deathstrike lures Wolverine and the X-Men into the Morlock tunnels where she hopes that a stunning, alien discovery may be the secret to her destroying the man she once loved so deeply.

Out of the Past, Part 2: Yuriko's alien discovery - a Shi'ar vessel - turns out to be a prison cell containing a voracious, gaseous prisoner, the M'Kraan Spirit Drinker. It immediately attacks Wolverine, Deathstrike and her cohorts, the Reavers, throwing them together to struggle against it. When the Spirit Drinker absorbs Jubilee's spirit, will Wolverine be able to overcome the alien creature or will he join Jubilee, locked inside it forever?

The Phoenix Saga, Part 1 - Sacrifice: Shi'ar emissary Eric the Red commandeers the Eagle One space station, so his emperor D'Ken can launch a surprise attack on the one person who stands between him and the all-powerful M'Kraan crystal, his sister Lilandra. Will the X-Men stop D'Ken and his mission before he brings an interstellar war to the earth's doorstep? And who can withstand re-entry in order to safely land the shuttle now that the auto pilot is damaged?

The Phoenix Saga, Part 2 - Dark Shroud: Jean Grey pilots the shuttle, but her psycho-kinetic shield fails her. When she calls out for help, the mysterious, amorphous Phoenix force takes over. Even after the shuttle is safe, Jean can neither remember her ordeal, nor can she shake the feeling she is not herself. Meanwhile Professor X also undergoes an alarming transformation. He retreats to Ireland to rest... until two surprise visitors appear. Or is he imagining things?

The Phoenix Saga, Part 3 - Cry of the Banshee: At great personal risk, Lilandra comes to Professor X's aid in Ireland. Lilandra again pleads with Professor X for assistance in the M'Kraan matter. As Jean struggles against the Phoenix energies, the other X-Men worry that the professor has lost his mind - especially now that he insists his mysterious 'friend' Lilandra, who no one else has ever seen, has been inexplicably kidnapped.

The Phoenix Saga, Part 4 - Starjammers: Jean loses her identity to the Phoenix spirit as the battle for the M'Kraan crystal approaches. The amazingly powerful Jean/Phoenix transports all the X-Men to Lilandra's ship where the empress has hidden the crystal. But D'Ken is waiting and so is another band of would-be crystal thieves... Corsair, Raza, Hepzibah and Ch'od. The battle to save the crystal and the universe as we know it gets more hopeless by the minute.

The Phoenix Saga, Part 5 - Child of Light: D'Ken achieves his terrifying goal - the crystal is his, allowing him to create his own universe inside the all-powerful gem. Under D'Ken's influence, the crystal begins to suck life from the solar system into itself like a black hole. D'Ken is fast becoming the power of the living galaxy. What has become of Phoenix? Must she sacrifice herself and Jean to save the world?

No Mutant is an Island: Cyclops, still in mourning after Jean Grey's "death", quits the X-men and returns to his orphange home and encounters his friend Sarah. She tells him that a wealthy man has decided to adopt all the mutant children, especially Rusty, but his intentions are to make them his army to destroy all humans in the world so that mutants are accepted. It's up to Cyclops to stop him and save the mutant children. Later, Cyclops returns to the mansion and he and the other X-Men discover that Jean Grey hasn't perished after all.

Obsession: Archangel has become obsessed with destroying Apocalypse, who he blames for ruining his life. A sympathetic Rogue joins his reckless, Ahab-like quest, against the warnings of the other X-Men, who have their own, more indirect plan to stop Apocalypse. In the end, the X-Men have Apocalypse in their grasp, only to have their plan ruined by Archangel's unthinking vengefulness.

Savage Land, Savage Heart, Part 1: Under the instruction of high priestess Zaladane, Sauron, a strange half man/half pterodactyl, kidnaps Storm to the Savage Land in order to feed from her pure, boundless mutant energy. Separated from the X team, Storm is encouraged by Sauron to free her inner tempest of energy - but does she dare? When the X-Men arrive they must fight off dinosaurs, Sauron, a mysterious power named Garokk and... Storm!

Savage Land, Savage Heart, Part 2: While Storm revels in her own elemental powers, Garokk, the stone spirit, secretly rejuvenates himself through her uninhibited energy display. Can the X-Men and the native Fall people control Storm and overpower Garokk before he fuses with the island's volcano and the surging planetary force below it?

The Dark Phoenix Saga, Part 1 - Dazzled: The Phoenix continues to inhabit Jean's body, brazenly taking over at will. As a chanteuse named Dazzler flirts with Scott, Jean/Phoenix finds herself psychically seduced by Jason Wyngarde, with help from Emma Frost and the other mutants in the Inner Circle Club. Wyngarde weaves a new history for the confused Jean/Phoenix, creating a passionate romance between himself and her. When the X-Men come to rescue Jean, they find her fighting alongside Wyngarde - her fiance.

The Dark Phoenix Saga, Part 2 - Inner Circle: As Professor X and Emma Frost battle for psychic control of Jean, the Inner Circle members quarrel over how to dispose of their prisoners the X-Men. Is Jean and Scott's psychic connection gone forever? Or is she strong enough to overcome Phoenix's influence and Wyngarde's trickery to remember who she is... or at least was?

The Dark Phoenix Saga, Part 3 - Dark Phoenix: When the X-Men confront Phoenix to give up Jean's body, Phoenix vows to destroy the team. To re-energize, she flies up through the D'Bari Star System, passing a very surprised Shi'ar Star Cruiser crew. As they watch in horror, she feeds upon and destroys an entire star system. To defend space life as they know it, the Shi'ar empress Lilandra decrees Phoenix/Jean Grey must die.

The Dark Phoenix Saga, Part 4 - The Fate of Phoenix: The X-Men battle Lilandra's Imperial Guards for 'custody' of Phoenix/Jean Gray. Although Xavier and Lilandra wish they could settle amicably, they are set on opposite courses. When Phoenix falls in battle, Xavier startles everyone by commanding the X-Men to stop Phoenix now, while she is vulnerable. But how can Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm or any of the team strike Phoenix while she inhabits the body of their dearest friend and teammate Jean Grey? And what will happen if they don't?

Orphan's End: Cyclops discovers that Corsair, a space pirate with a checkered past, may be his father. Corsair is on the run from Shi'ar authorities, who demand that Cyclops turn him over to them. Corsair swears his innocence. Will Cyclops turn in the man who may have abandoned him as a child?

Season Four

One Man's Worth, Part 1: Bishop and his sister Shard travel back in time in order to stop an alternate and unacceptable future, a future without Professor X and where the X-Men never existed. Brother and sister arrive in 'alternate present,' where humans battle violently against 'The Leader' Magneto, and his followers who include husband and wife Wolverine and Storm. Can Bishop and Shard convince Storm and Wolverine that someone whom they have never met, Charles Xavier, holds the fate of mutant-human relations in his hands? Can they convince Storm and Wolverine to choose to create a future which holds the promise of Xavier and the X-Men but which denies them the love they have found in this life?

One Man's Worth, Part 2: Failing to stop the assassination of Xavier, Storm convinces Wolverine they must help Shard and Bishop until they succeed in ensuring Xavier's existence. Will Nimrod succeed in stopping them? Will Forge's machine function... if he even allows them to use it? Or will this band of time travelers fail to save Xavier for a second time?

Cold Comfort: Former X-Man Bobby 'Iceman' Drake is caught breaking into a top secret government installation. The X-Men free him and take him to Xavier, who grieves over this former favorite pupil who walked out on the X-Men and has apparently gone bad. But Bobby had a reason for breaking into the installation, a reason he will only confide to the one X-Man he still trusts, Hank 'Beast' McCoy.

Nightcrawler: Gambit, Rogue, and Wolverine take a ski trip in Germany for some much-needed R&R. While Gambit and Rogue seem to be enjoying themselves, Wolverine is restless, and longs for some action. When he hears reports of a demon hiding in a local monastery, his investigation reveals not a demon, but a mutant, Nightcrawler, whose devilish appearance is in stark contrast to his peaceful and deeply philosophical nature. While the X-Men convince the townsfolk not to fear what they do not understand, Wolverine, too, learns something about the nature of faith.

The Juggernaut Returns: Juggernaut's life is at risk when someone else uncovers the Ruby of Cyttorak and claims the powers of Juggernaut for himself! Will the Professor let his brother perish, or will he restore to power one of his most intractable foes?

Weapon X, Lies, and Videotape: A cryptic postcard unleashes a flood of maddening and painful memories in Wolverine that threaten to drive him insane. To keep his mind from being torn apart, Wolverine and Beast travel to the one location that may hold the answers to his hidden past: the ruins of the top-secret Weapon X lab where Wolverine's bones were laced with adamantium. There he encounters other former 'test subjects' Sabretooth, Maverick and Silver Fox who are suffering similar mental breakdowns. Old passions and rivalries are reignited as the four former government agents break into the lab, leading to an explosive climax and the realization that some secrets are best left buried.

Proteus, Part 1: Moira's young son Kevin is overtaken by mutant powers which leave him a telepath with spectacular strength - who's still just a kid - called Proteus. What Proteus wants, Proteus gets... regardless of the X-Men, it seems.

Proteus, Part 2: When Proteus discovers that his deadbeat dad is a prominent politician, he storms the Union Hall right in the middle of his dad's campaign speech on 'family values.' Can Xavier compel Proteus the monster to allow Kevin the boy to meet his father, or will Proteus destroy the dad who has disowned him?

Beyond Good and Evil, Part 1 - The End of Time: This four-parter begins in the year 3999 in an Apocalypse vs. Cable face-off which Apocalypse wins by stealing Cable's computer and with it the ability to time travel. Now no one is safe with the X-Men's sworn enemies teleporting in and out of time and space... all on Jean and Scott's second attempt at a wedding day. And when Apocalypse kidnaps Jean Grey, Professor X cannot get a psychic reading on her anywhere. Meanwhile Bishop gets trapped in the axis of time. When his sister Shard goes looking for him, she portals to the X-Mansion but is she too late to help?

Secrets, Not Long Buried: When Cyclops flies solo to a tiny western desert community to see an old friend, his plane is blasted out of the sky. Injured, he struggles into town, only to discover his friend is missing and the town is caught in the grips of a militant, mutant-only, anti-human hate group called The Children of the Shadow. As Cyclops - minus his mutant power because of his injuries - searches for his lost friend, The Children of the Shadow hunt him down. None of the townspeople will help. Will Cyclops, after enduring years of anti-mutant prejudice, be killed because now no one believes he's a mutant?

Family Ties: The twins Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, called to their father's bedside in the Balkan mountains, learn that they must travel to a hidden Shangri La-like mountain valley (Wundagore) to discover the secret of their parentage. There the leader of the valley, The High Evolutionary, tells them of their mother's death at the hands of Magneto. The twins help The Evolutionary capture Magneto - only to discover that he is their true father, and that all three are now at The Evolutionary's mercy. Wolverine, having followed Magneto, alerts the X-Men, who must race against time to save the newly reunited family - and the world.

Season Five

The Phalanx Covenant, Part 1: Pushing to investigate a disturbance downtown, the X-Men find Sabretooth on the rampage again--but relize too late that it isn't really Sabretooth at all! It is the Phalanx, a voracious alien life-form that can assume the guise of anything or anyone. Before long, the X-Men are all captured, except for Beast, who must find a way to stop the alien horror from devouring the entire Earth.

The Phalanx Covenant, Part 2: Snatched from the jaws of the Phalanx by the villainous Mr. Sinister, Beast and Forge search for allies to help them battle the alien threat. Gathering assistance from such unlikely sources as Magneto and Sinister himself, they embark upon adaring and risky plan to free the planet from the clutches of the Phalanx by traveling straight into the belly of the beast.

A Deal With the Devil: Omega Red, destruction machine from the former Soviet Union and sworn enemy of Wolverine, is thawed and sent two miles beneath the ocean to salvage a disabled, toxic nuclear submarine threatening to break up near Hawaii. His only condition: Wolverine and Storm go down with him as 'insurance.' Once in the sub, it turns out Omega Red has other plans for the nuclear missiles--and the two X-Men!

Courage: The very day Morph returns to the X-Men, a terrorist attack on a top-secret high tech weapons factory interrupts his home-coming party. When Morph and Wolverine investigate, they discover every mutant's worst nightmare has come true -- the Sentinels are back in action -- the very same group that almost ended Morph's career as an X-Man. Can he come to grips with his own inner fears and face these terrifying opponents?

Longshot: Longshot, handsome rebel from another world, tumbles into this world with no memory and a murderous gang--led by the six-armed woman warrior Spiral--hot on his trail. It turns out that Longshot is on the run from Mojo, maniacal inter-dimensional TV executive. Using Jubilee as the 'prize', Mojo and his minions lure Longshot and the X-Men into a deadly contest which Mojo broadcasts 'live' to up his ratings.

Sanctuary, Part 1: Weary of battling for mutant supremacy, Magneto offers to transport all mutants to an orbiting asteroid where they can live human-free lives in peace. However, the governments of the world feel threatened by Magneto's plan, and decide to blow the asteroid up -- until Professor X intervenes on Magneto's behalf. In an effort to understand Magneto's intentions, Beast, Gambit, and Xavier visit Magneto's peaceful asteroid, only to be implicated in the assassination of Magneto!

Sanctuary, Part 2: As Magneto plummets helplessly to Earth, Fabian Cortez assumes control of Asteroid M, blames the X-Men for Magneto's disappearance and holds the world hostage with the asteroid's stolen nuclear arsenal. Can the X-Men stop the deranged traitor in time or will Cortez succeed in his maniacal plan to destroy life on Earth?

Xavier Remembers: When Professor X suffers a slight concussion, his powerful psychic mind is suddenly open to malevolent manipulation. As the professor's physical condition deteriorates, Jean cannot contact him psionically and Beast's medical efforts seem useless. There is only one voice Xavier can hear calmly urging him on to a life free of contention and strife toward peace and his own death. But, is it possible? Does Xavier recognize this eerie voice leading into the bright light of oblivion?

Bloodlines: Nightcrawler gets a mysterious message. He is informed that his birth mother (whom he never knew) is in trouble. He turns to the X-Men for assistance. Jubilee is baffled that Nightcrawler wants to help the mother who abandoned him -- she has never known her birth parents and feels pretty hostile toward them, whoever they are. Nightcrawler admits there has been pain, but his faith in God has helped him overcome her rejection. The plot thickens when one of the team members recognizes Nightcrawler's mother's voice... There are more 'bloodlines' here than anyone imagined, including the Friends of Humanity who arranged this 'reunion' in the first place.

Storm Front, Part 1: The dashing alien, Arkon, unleashes terrible weather conditions over Washington D.C. to get Storm's attention. It works -- he begs her to return with him to his planet, Corsus, to save it from meteorological chaos which threatens his people. After much pleading, Arkon convinces Storm. Intrigued by this dynamic leader but slightly suspicious, Storm departs but leaves a clue for the other X-Men to follow. The X-Men travel through an inter-dimensional portal and arrive to 'rescue' Storm, just as she is in the midst of restoring the planet's raging eco-system. Once successful, Storm is proclaimed savior throughout this universe. What's more, Arkon asks her to marry him.

Storm Front, Part 2: Spectacular preparations for Storm's wedding to Arkon proceed quickly. Jubilee's Fairytale Theatre: Jubilee leads a group of school children on a tour of a cave on Mansion property--only to be caught in a cave-in. As the water in the cave rises, she keeps the kids calm by spinning a Medieval fairy tale of knights, princesses, trolls and dragons. Some of these characters might just seem to resemble the X-Men. But will the real X-Men show up in time to save Jubilee and the kids?

The Fifth Horseman: On a research expedition in South America, Beast and Jubilee discover pictographs indicating a Mayan temple consecrated to the end of the world. Beast's second reading offers a different--and very strange translation: up ahead is a temple to Apocalypse! Instantly, Beast is captured and Jubilee is made ready for the duty of vessel--it will be her body that receives the essence of Apocalypse. Completely out of contact with the rest of the X-Men, Beast and Jubilee must somehow save themselves...perhaps with the help of one brave old friend.

Once there, Rogue realizes that Sam is living the life she never had--he has a loving family and a supportive community. She is reluctant to encourage Sam to leave his home for a life of danger with the X-Men...until undercover agents use their own shadowy tactics to recruit the powerful young man.

Descent: The year is 1859, the dawn of mutantkind. The place is London, England, where the Victorian era is in full swing. In academic circles, many new theories are debated, perhaps none more strongly than those of Charles Darwin. His theory of natural selection divides the scientific community--pitting learned scholars like Dr. James Xavier (ancestor of Professor Charles Xavier) against Dr. Nathaniel Essex. Essex, a brilliant biologist, believes mutants (still quite rare and treated like side-show attractions) and represent the next evolutionary step for humankind--represent the future of humanity. In an effort to save his wife from a rare blood disease, Essex begins reckless experimentation on mutant evolution--on his wife, on his mutant patients, even on himself. Soon, Dr. James Xavier vows to stop Essex at whatever the cost.

Meanwhile the media has transmitted news of the brutal attack worldwide, and mutants everywhere begin to look to a new leader... Magneto. The ultimate mutant uprising appears inevitable.
