Water Those touched with Water usually are very passionate creatures. They have some of the following characteristics: gentle, calm, serene, intelligent, sympathetic, empathetic, good listeners. They tend to be adept healers and therapists. ****IMPORTANT: WATER MAGES CANNOT KILL!!**** Occupations: Mage Healers, Counselors, Therapists, Court Advisors, Oracles, DreamWeavers All students begin with basic self defense. Water students delve deeper into Human Anatomy, Human phsiology, Human Psychology, Court and Law proceedings and Marine husbandry. All Water students will learn to produce small amounts of water from the air for rituals, drinking, cleaning wounds, etc.. Students will be notified when they have advanced to Apprentiship level. Here they will study their career objectives and will eventually gain one magick: - Water Shield (To shield self or others from physical attacs with a Water barrier) - Pain Sense (To sense pain in another person and place the location) - Poison Sense (To sense poison in themselves, another person or in an object) - Deep Empathy (To feel anothers emotional state.) **At the apprentice level a young man or woman wil go through their Adulthood Rites. After their rites, they will be visited by their Familiar. Apprentices will be notified when they have advanced to Mage level. Here they will continue studying their career objective and will eventually gain a magick: - Healing Glow (To create a blue watery aura on a wound and healing it or purging poison.) - Life Force (To take energy from another person and give it to yourself or another for strength) - The Sight (To touch a person or their belongings and being able to find them or an item. - Mind Calm (To touch minds with another and guide them to peace or deliverence. NOTE: Very hard to control, can become MindTrapped.) Mages have the option to continue their training or go into their chosen fields. All Mages at this point will learn to breathe underwater for up to 2 hours. They can submit for placement at a Kings Court or become traveling Mages, hiring out their services to outlying townships for Healing.. If they stay to continue their training, they are usually tasked with the teaching and mentoring of students. Mages who continue with thier studies will advance to Master Mage and earn Two more magicks.. - Water Wave (To call upon a wave of water to block an enemy) - Elemental Call (To call upon a Water Elemental for assistance. A Water elemental MAY kill BUT the water Mage cannot kill outright. This is temporary and requires much control.) - Water Bubble (To envelope oneself and others in a coccoon of Air for a time that serves as an underwater shield and transport system.) - DreamWeaving (To enter a persons dreams and induce nightmares or talk to them from over long distances. Master Mages can continue studying but most do not have the aptitude or Spirit Gudiance for more Magicks. Those that are Spirit Touched are called to become Water Helms. These are the most powerful of WaterMages. They are usually in charge of the school and head the Council of Mages for the Kingdoms. They have one or more of the following Magicks. - Leviathon Call (The ability to call upon the oldest of Water Elementals - The Liviathon. Very Hard to control and takes complete mind power to control these Elementals. - Mind Control (To control another person for a brief period of time. Will take over the body of the person involved. - Life Gift (To give life back to a newly deceased person. Requires great control and energy. Must make sure the body is healed or the new life will drain away again.) |
