...This...Is...

So...This is my official personal website now ... The struggle goes on... March 22nd 2009 still hanging in, two years later - March 20th 2007 still with the world - been a long winter - This year I'm back playing with Angela Carter as a duo (the TwoTimers) and focusing on "olden goldies" unfortunately now I've lost some ability in my right hand so it's not what it used to be - but I refuse to give up anyways. Now it's Sept 21st-2006 I haven't entered a word on this blog - like I know what that means anyways- in over a year.So here goes. Once again... so much has changed - I had to give up performing music anyways to keep bread ( and beer ) on the table didn't I. I turned 50 this year and I'm working harder than I have ever to keep up the fight. The struggle goes on, hard to believe how much has changed... I was playing August 5th and 6th (2005)with the Thunder Rhodes Band at the Cassidy Inn just south of Nanaimo...The following week in Campbell River at the Quinsam...hope to see me there... In retrospect I hate to say though it was great hanging with Reg & Joe and we had some really good moments but by the end of the 6 nighter I was pretty bad. Then my friend Bruce gave me a call to play in Tim Zurowski's studio - He gave me a tape of some mixed meter riff he came up with on bass. I tryed but I think I musta sucked... I'm beginning to think that life really does suck and then you die - at least for some the sucking doesn't really hurt too much if you like that kind of thing anyways, like if you have a martyr complex or something. I think Joe would probably disagree with that statement considering that I was one of the luckier people. Still struggling with the obstacles that are presented before us or the ones that we put up for ourselves to lean against we must soldier on until the ultimate big sleep. This is the meaning of life. Take these cards you've been dealt and play them wisely for play them you must... Anyways... Probably no one will ever read these words but...Here is a page from which you can access Musicians Wanted & Musical Situations wanted for Western Canada.
