| Ah...my snowflake girl... What to say about Becky? Well, she's always been a friend, as well as a sister in Christ, and a close mentor of mine. I've always looked to Becky for advice and love. She's always been there for a hug or just to have some fun times. Becky helped Duane with the youth group at Grace...and I told her that she couldn't marry him and move away. Jokingly of course...at the time. She loved working with the girls and had us over to her apartment many times during the week. We had girl sleepovers and girl nights and girl outtings. Makeup, hair, making dinner or baking desserts...we always had so much fun with Becky whatever we were doing. My favorite times with Becky were my alone times with her. Becky and I would go out to the diner for dessert and coffee. There were nights that we'd go and just talk for hours. Sometimes long conversations, sometimes short. Sometimes very serious and sometimes very funny. It was always so easy to tell her things and you knew that if you needed something, she was there for you. So then Becky left and went across the US to Wisconsin I believe. (By the way, Duane and Becky did eventually get together.) And now I'm not sure exactly where she is. But I do know one thing...the next time I see her, I'll probably be getting married. =) Becky, thank you for everything. For always being there, for always having the right words to say or the right advice to give, for opening your home to us so many times, for caring so much about each girl you came in contact with, for hugging us with such welcoming arms, and for loving us with the love of Christ. You are a true angel and blessing in my life. I am blessed to call you friend and sister in Christ. I love you Becky Snow*flake*! |
