This page is a tribute to the handsome, talented and hilariously amusing Sean Biggerstaff. Nineteen-year-old Sean was born on the Ides of March, but caught the acting bug early, joining a local drama group in Maryhill at the age of seven, and entering Scottish Youth Theatre at age ten. It was at SYT that he met Alan Rickman, who offered Sean the role of Tom in Sean's film debut, "The Winter Guest". Rickman also put Sean in touch with his agent at ICM, and through him Sean was able to successfully audition for the role of Oliver Wood in the film versions of the book series "Harry Potter".
Aside from acting, Sean is also a musician. He used to play guitar with the band Crambo, but left in 1999. He still plays guitar, however, and owns three, including his pride and joy, a Telecaster. He also enjoys BMX cycling, but cannot do so under his Warner Bros. contract for fear of injury.
Sean, a Glaswegian by birth, has rather a cheeky sense of humour. He also has eleven toes (apparently), and a bit of a fetish for badgers. |
