This page is my tribute to the best unsigned Scottish band in the world: Crambo. Crambo is Paul Kelly, Gregor Mackay, and Anthony O'Donnell. Since its creation in 1997, Crambo has also contained bassist Bobby MacLaren, Chris Grams, and Sean Biggerstaff, who did some guitar and singing before leaving in 1999. Crambo is based in Dumfries until Paul decides to leave again. The name Crambo is a "Tom and Jerry" reference. Ask Gregor for more information. If he's not busy playing with his mobile phone. Crambo has been on and off (mostly off) for the past four years. Paul has been reduced to hospital administrative duties, Communist accusations, and a severe lack of pistachioes. Anthony is currently working for the Scottish Youth Theatre (among other things). Gregor is currently in his third year at Stirling University and is to be commended for making it to his third year without being kicked out or dying, the only Crambo member to do so. Crambo's most renowned song is probably "Norman Blake". My personal favourites include "Murry and Audree" and "Leave the Biker". There are no lyric links on this page, at Paul's request. |
