Jacob & Tabitha Rowe

Jacob and Tabitha Rowe were my husband's Gr Gr Grandparents. Through their daughter Mary Ann.

Jacob H. Rowe was born January, 8, 1833 in Giles County Virginia. He was the son of Jacob Rowe Sr. and Sarah Diamond Rowe. He married Tabitha Sweeney, on August, 4, 1854. Tabitha was the daughter of James and Sarah Sweeney. She was born August ,1, 1839.
Jacob served in the Civil War, as a Union soldier. He is buried on Beartown Mountain on Rockridge.
In 1999, there was a Civil War stone dedicated to Jacob.
