"So what is it like…being an…alien and everything?"  Tess wondered.

"I don't know…it's not like I know any better…but…I guess it has it advantages."  Isabelle gets the girls excited.

"What?  Can you like, see through guys clothes or read peoples minds or something?"  Tess asks, making all the girls giggly and hyperactive.

"No you guys I can't do any of that…I wish."

"What about that dreamwalking thing Max told me about…that's a bit like mind reading, right?"  Liz supposed.

"Dreamwalking?  What the Hell is Dreamwalking?"  Maria panted.

"This thing I learnt…when someone is sleeping…I can touch a picture of them and…take a look at what they're dreaming.  It's mostly useless honestly, but sometimes it can be fun."

"That sounds, so cool, you really have to show us now…"

"Can you take us with you…into the dream I mean…"

Maria and Tess were like excited schoolgirls and it was hard to make out who was saying which sentence.  Liz smiled at Isabelle from a distance, lifting her shoulders at the behaviour of her other friends.  Maria found an old newspaper at the bottom of Liz's bed and flicked to a random page.  It was the missing persons page, but none of them realized it.

"Here, just try him., please?  I am so hyped to see how this works, come on?"  Maria begged.

"OK fine."  Isabelle touched on the chosen man's picture and closed her eyes beginning to dreamwalk.

What she saw was very vivid and she didn't enjoy it at all.  Unstable, distorted images of Liz's shooters, two men she had never heard of before, one old, one young in appearance.  She could feel the power from both of them, they were aliens.  There were voices whispering in her head…'Kivhar' and 'Nasuedo', and screaming and miscellaneous murmers.  There was an air of darkness about what she saw and she found it hard to pull away from.  Everybody looked on at her, in concern.  Isabelle refused to react to them at all and simply stood up quickly, shoved the paper in her bag and left without flinching.

"Do you think she is OK?"

"Maria…I did not like the look on her face just now…she was completely desperate and scared…we should really go help her…but maybe she doesn't want us to get involved."  Liz weighed things up.

"Look just because she is an advanced life form in part does not mean that she knows the best thing for us to do…she saved my life before…and yes I was freaked, way freaked…but I got over it.  And do you know why?  Because she could have let me die and lived happily ever after but she made a decision not to, and alien, hybrid, whatever…that makes her human in my book.  So now I'm making the decision to help her."

Tess threw secret, hateful, deadly glares at Maria.

"You're right Maria, but if we want to help her then we have to find her" Liz hesitated.

Isabelle turned up at the Valenti/DeLuca household not long after.  Jim was shocked to see Isabelle in the pouring rain at night with pajamas on, but even more taken back by her frantic, teary-eyes condition.  He let her in, cautiously.

"I…I need your help…all of your help…this is the only place I could come to that was safe…They're everywhere."  She trembled.

"Ms Evans…calm down…nobody is here to get you…you are completely safe here, nobody is trying to hurt you."  Jim said after quickly poking his head out the door and switching it from side to side.

Isabelle could hardly talk, her words were overlapping one another, she looked demented.

"Is there something here I should know about?"

"Not yet dad…I know what you're thinking…but this is not some illegal substances deal."

"What makes you so sure Kyle…there is something here you're not telling me…something you know?"

"Not just me."

"Do I even want to know?"

"I don't think so…but look, I know that if Isabelle says she is being followed then she is…I know this all looks really crazy and bizarre right now but I promise you this is all true and perfectly explainable.  The most important thing is she needs protecting, and that's what you are dad a protector.  So can we please help her?"
