Sideview of "Chainsaw's Justice"
This photo is of the mask while it was being painted
Inside this tree are two powerline glass insulaters. They are about a foot apart at the lower left (the knobby part of the statute at the "12 o'clock" position of the clock). The insulator that is completely inside the wood is not visible to the viewer in this photo; the other one is protruding out toward the bottom  right of the sculpture, over the bottom book. They are  very hard to see in a photograph. The inslutors could be symbols for inside connections, or how time is insulated from those who pass judgement. In this sculpture they are on the rim of the melted pocket watch ( ode to Dali) . Chris and I will be touring with this sculpture and we will continue to carve and paint it on the road.
