Some QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Question:
Where does the spider's web comes from?
Answer:
The silk with which the spiders spins its web comes from it's body, passing through almost invisible holes. The threads get entwined to form a single cord, which is so fine that a hundred of such cords will be only as big as a strand of hair. Since the web is meant to catch insects, the spider soaks it in a paste like substance that gets the insects caught in it's sticky web.

Question:
Do flying fish really fly?
Answer:
No, flying fish don't really fly.  They just glide over the surface of the water by means of their two large wing like fins.
To glide, the fish swims quickly to the surface of the water. At top speed, it swoops out of the water with a powerful flip of its tail, and stretching out its large, side wing like fins, its gracefully glides into the air.
Most flying fish stays only in the air a few seconds, but this is long enough for them to escape their enemy blow, which are most often, Dolphins.

Question:
Why don't fish sink in water?
Answer:
Most fishes have a balloon-like sac inside their bodies called an " air bladder " , that acts as a float to keep them sinking.
Some fish, such as catfish and pike, gulp air at the surface of the water to fill their air bladders.  A shark has no air bladder to buoy it up. It must constantly be swimming to keep from sinking.

Question:
Do fish ever sleep?
Answer:
Yes, fish sleep but because fish have no eyelids they cannot close their eyes, and it may look as though they never sleep.
Many fish sleep by simply remaining very still in the water . Others lie on the bottom, resting upright or on their sides. And a few others wriggle into the sand of the water floor.
Fish donnot sleep as soundly as we humans do, and the slightest disturbance will wake them.

Question:
Which is the largest known living shark?
Answer:
The whale shark. It is often more than 50 feet long and
weighs several tons. It is also the biggest of all fishes.
(The whale, which is larger and resembles a fish, is not a fish but a mammal).
Whale sharks have lines of pale spots on
their grayish body. Though their jaws are wide enough
to swallow a man, they are completely harmless to man, and live peacefully in the warm sea, eating seaweed and small fish.
