 Books Suggested & commentations:

   [Intelligent Investors] by Benjamen Graham

"By far the best book on investing ever written." said by Warren Buffett. It covers all areas about investing and suggests 2 methods for offensive & defensive investors. The recently most used Dollar-cost averaging method by financial planners is from this book. 2 most important concepts, Mr. Market & Margin of Safety are also from this book.

[Security Analysis] by Benjamen Graham & David Dodd

Same author as Intelligent Investors, Ben. Graham. This book teaches how to read financial statements & how to analyze securities. It covers both the quantity & quality sides of security analysis but more on the quantity side. The net-net investing method is from this book. The concept of margin of safety is well explained here.

[Common stocks, uncommon profit] by Phillip Fisher

Warren Buffett said that himself is 85% of Ben. Gram. & 15% of Phil. Fisher. If Security analysis is for the quantity side of security analysis, then this book is for the quality side of security analysis. It states out the characteristics of the great companies, how to figure them out, and how to find them.

[Good to Great] By Jim Collins

This book is named also The corporation Bible. Jim searched for the factors making a company great and he's succeed. You may see some points familiar if you read the book, common stocks uncommon profit. This book is a must-read too.

[Built to Last] By Jim Collins

This is the continuous story of Good to Great although this is written before it. It states out how to turn a great company into a long-last company such as GE, 3M, IBM, Citi Group, AE, SONY, HP, etc. This book is also a must-read.

[Elliott Wave Principle, key to market behaviour] by Robert Prechter

The best book I've read on Elliot Wave Principle. This book is more on the concepts of Elliot Wave Principle rather than on the technical side. Elliot Wave Principle is well explained why it is useful and what concept it is based on. But this book may not be for the beginner of Elliott Wave Principle. "Mastering the Elliott Wave" would be better for beginner.

   [Greenspan's fraud] by Ravi Batra

A good  economic lecture & history is taken. The past & current situation of US economy is stated out. You can expect to learn what consequence there'll be under what fiscal & monetary policies. The author is also good in predicting where the world's economy goes.

[World is flat] by Thomas Friedman

It tells us the current & future trend of our world, and how it is improved by globalization. There are lots of useful information in the book. After finishing this book, you may get some new business ideas or may know what to invest in the next 10 years. This book is suggested by Bill Gates "N" times already, he even said that every employee, employer should read it.

[In an uncertain world] by Robert Robin

Robert Robin was the US gov't Financial dept. head. He helped Clinton in the US gov't  from 1992 to 1998.  This is a biography of himself but you'll how smart he is and some insiders' sight of the financial world and economy.

[Alchemy of Finance] by George Soros

This book is written by the  most misunderstood guy in the world, George Soros. In the book, you can see his concepts on investing, a brief history of our economy, and a demo trade of this top speculator in 1985. It's not easy  to understand thoroughly.

[Essays of Warren Buffett] by Warren Buffett

This is made up of essays of Warren Buffett, the well-known investor & #2 richest guy through pure investing, to his shareholders. There is lots of wisdoms in this book and some of Warren Buffett's own view on investing, financing  & accounting. Some concepts maybe familiar if you read intelligent investors or security analysis.

[Trade like Warren Buffett] by James Altucher

Most of the books on Warren Buffett talk about "Buy & Hold" but it's not the only investing strategy Buffett uses. And this book talks about what other investing strategies Buffett uses. How Buffett does arbitrage is discussed too.

   [The Oil Factor]

A detailed research on Oil is done by the authors. If you want to know where oil goes & why, then this is one of the best choices. It also gives us some investment recommendations in the second part of this book.

   [Hot commodities] by Jim Rogers

Jim Rogers is the partner of George Soros, and helped the Quantum Fund to achieve a return rate of close to 40%. He could have retired at the age of 37. He then traveled around the world twice. Since 1998, he announced that the super bull market of the commodity started. This book teaches us how to trade commodities, it's also the first time Jim writes to teach people how to invest.

   [Adventure Capitalist] by Jim Rogers

Same author as "Hot commodities". This book is about Jim's trip around the world with a modified SLK. There is lots of investing tips in this book we can see. We also learn how to know a country whether it's going to rise or fall.
