Petalburg

So I says to mable, I says "Petalburg's nice this time of year... it even has a gym!" Yes, that's right, a Gym! But you can't battle in this gym until you get 5 other badges first... Damn! But heal up and such, talk to some people i fyou want, but go to the gym anyway. Guess who's the gym leaderr? Your Dad! That's right... and he still won't let you battle him! Now what? a guy will come in and demand a pokemon... so of course, you're going to have to show him how to catch one... if you didn't read my catching pokemon page (or if you did and you didn't understand it) and you still want to know how to catch a pokemon, then watch... if you already know, then leave your game running, go into the kitchen and grab a snack, or if you're playing at your sibling's sports game, then actually pay attention to who's winning, or if you're on a plane, go to the "lavoratory".

Now that you've refreshed yourself, you can exit the gym, (not pronounced g-I-m, but Jim) anyway, head west. and then North, pluck the berries, and head into the hauntingly horrifying Petalburg Woods. Explore this region, battling, earning money, and catching pokemon. Soon, (as you progress) You will come across a random guy... (uh oh... I thought I was playing Pokemon, Not Grand theft auto!) who has lost his shroomish. You will then have to battle a member of Team Aqua, or Magma, (depending on if you have sapphire or ruby) Once you win he will give you a Great Ball. to get out of this forrest, continue north.

You're back on Route 104 with more trainers to fight. You'll see a flower shop. (up and to the left) Go in there and talk to one of the girls. She'll give you the Wailmer Pail. After planting a Berry, water it with this to make it grow. On the bridge, you'll be having your first two on two battle with the Twins, well, if you choose to talk to them. There is an old lady staning near the water. Talk to her, and she'll give you a Chesto Berry. Head north a little more, and you'll be arriving at Rustboro City. W00T W00T! (this is also where the game starts actually getting challenging)
