Probably the biggest reason many people are hesitant to come to Asia, besides not being able to speak the language, is that we westerners are spoiled. We are worried that we will miss the places and things that we are used to back home. Well, trust me, Koreans love all things western, although they usually put a Korean spin on things. Check out these photos to give you a little peace of mind and maybe a reminder to get off the internet and eat something. Hit the nearest big city and you will find more than enough places to cure your homesickness.
Whining for a whopper...tadaaaaaaaa! You can usually find atleast one in any big city. For all you Canadians, like me, who can't get enough of their coffee and donuts. Sadly, it's closed now. Lots of places to buy donuts, though, almost all the big chain grocery stores carry them.
Big food...big taste...just like Thanksgiving everytime. Wear something with an expandable waist, though.
What do you mean I have to leave...the hockey game just came on and I'm not budging.
Bear in mind, if you are full sized, bring lots of clothes or you will find yourself dressing like Snoop Doggy Dog.
No. It's not Tony...but you can get your favorite cereal here or you could have rice and Kimchee like Koreans normally have for breakfast.
Need some fried chicken like only the Colonel can make? No problem.
Must have coffee...easy as pie. Korea seems to have as many coffee chops as bars.
Yes, Koreans love weird art, too.
I loved Busan Aquarium, but they wouldn't let me take my rod and reel with me. Sort of like watching food commercials.
Want to hit the beach and tan? Just you and about 10,000 Koreans with the same idea.
