Should have nuked them

Monday, 22 July 2022

I think Ann Coulter's criticism of the Clinton administration's anti-terrorism record, in her piece "Clinton was yellow hippy peacenik lentil barf", was a bit unfair. It ignored some very soft-cock non-actions by various Republican administrations.

George Bush Senior totally left Saddam Hussein off the hook and Reagan should of sorted out the I-ranians when he had the chance. Reagan was so senile that he thought dope smoking and cricket were a far greater threat to the American way of life and invaded Granada instead - well he tried to.

Worst of all was that idiot looking for a village, George Bush Junior. After September 11, all of America's enemies were cowling in fear, wondering if they'd be the first to get nuked. All that was needed was an appropriate response - just a couple small capacity nukes on Bin Laden and Mother Omar. The warning that the fundies and trouble makers had to have.

But George Junior did nothing and soon all the A-rabs were more uppity than they'd ever been.

Indeed, they could have learnt a lot from the Democrat administrations. Harry S Truman wasn't afraid to drop the big one and Kennedy/Johnson weren't afraid of a few casualties.

Who would of thought that Chelsea Clinton would go onto become the greatest Republican President of the 'post war' era?

Philip Ruddock shouldn't step aside

Saturday, 20 July 2022

Ever since John Howard retired in 2016, Prime Minister Phil Ruddock has been about the only thing standing between the freedoms we hold dear and Australia becoming an Islamic republic. So it's with that in mind, that talk of him stepping aside for Tony Abbott frightens me.

As far as a capacity to keep out the riffraff goes, Abbott is the worst of both worlds. As an economic feudalist, he'd want to let in all and sundry in the hope of driving down the cost of labour. As as religious fruit cake, he's probably got some skewed concept of compassion that says you have to let in every fucker no matter how much he wants to kill you and your family.

Bill Hayden was right...

Saturday, 13 July 2022

All this fuss about the purchase of 12-year-old Jesse Ventura missiles for the new Reith Class submarines. The real question is why won't they be armed with nuclear warheads.

Former Labor leader, Bill Hayden knew that the only real defense against our bad-ass neighbours was a nuclear arsenal and he said so in his biography. What's the point of having submarines if they can't sidle up to the Javanese coast and lob in a couple of nukes?

Sure, all the fifth columnists in the Foreign Affairs Department will scream about it starting an arms race but the arms race will come anyway. The present cartel running Indonesia aren't going to start plowing millions into a nukes program at the expense of their own Swiss bank accounts but what happens when they (and Indonesian culture) are swept away by a tide of A-rab backed Islamic fundamentalism?
