The number one rookie of the years genin, Uchiha Sasuke tends to be on the anti-social side. Despite that almost every female in the series adores him, he could care less and ignores all of them. Being one of the two remaining members of the Uchiha clan that was destroied by his brother, Itachi, he has labled himself an avenger and made his purpose to kill Itachi. Being an Uchiha, he has inherited his family's bloodlimit the Sharigan. Used by a few members of the Uchiha clan, the Sharigan is an eye condition that allows the user to copy techniques. Sasuke loves a good fight and detests it when he is weaker than someone. Naruto's rival, he is often rude to his comrade and also cruel to his other teammate Sakura. Even though he won't admit it, his teammates have grown on him and become his friends.
Sakura

Origin - Konoha village
Haruno Sakura is the most inteligent of team 7, and the Konoha genin. Although she can use her Chakara the most efficiantly, she isn't good in combat, and often falls behind Sasuke and Naruto. Like almost every other girl in the series, she has a crush on Sasuke. She is also self-conscious about her forehead, which she was teased about when she was younger. Her rival is Yamanaka Ino, who used to be her best friend. Both Naruto and Lee have a crush on Sakura, yet she only has eyes for Sasuke. None-the-less, she becomes better friends with both boys over the course of time.
Naruto
Age - 12
Birthday - October 10th
Origin - Konoha village
The main character of the series, Uzumaki Naruto is quite the character. A goof-off and a prankster, Naruto took three years of the Academy before becomeing a genin. Sealed inside him is the nine-tailed fox Kyubii, which gives him increadible power when he can harness it. An outcast because of the Kyubii inside him, he tries anything and everything to be accepted. Rivals with Sasuke, he doesn't even notice when he surpasses the Uchiha in strength. Naruto also has a crush on Sakura, who in turn hates Naruto and has a crush on Sasuke. Naruto is an overall friendly person, and will do anything to protect his friends. His dream is to become the Hokage, the most powerful and respected leader of the village. He also has a strange obsesstion with ramen, which he eats daily.
Gaara
Age - 12
Birthday - January 19th
Origin - Sand village
The son of Kazekage, Gaara was created to be the perfect shinobi. Killing his mother in birth as a sacrifice, his father sealed the demon badger Shukaku inside of him giving him incredilble power. But haveing the demon inside of him, Gaara is unstable and cannot sleep, or the demon will slowly take over his mind. Realizeing this, Kazekage sent many of his men to assainate his son, but to no avail. Gaara's brother is Kankuro, and his sister is Temari. Gaara prefers to be alone however, and he belives his purpose is to kill and only love himself.
Kabuto
Age - 19
Birthday - February 19th
Origin - Unknown (Grew up in Konoha Village)
Kabuto is the son of the Konoha Village medic. As a child, he was taken in by his father as a survivor from a battle with an enemy village. He later became a spy for Orochimaru, and his 'right arm'. Kabuto, though technically a genin, has the same skill as Kakashi. Kabuto's strength is in useing his medicinal knowledge to injure his opponents.
