Welcome back to Ruskie Poochie headquarters. Since our last project, The Assasin, in June 2003, we have been fairly dormant in our video activities. However, up ahead there are some exciting new projects on the way.
Throughout November, while juggling classes at Rutgers, Pucciarello and Livshits will be scheduling meetings with a prominent researcher of the origins of flowers, Hank.
In all of his seventy years, Hank has been fascinated by plants and their roots (no pun intended). He has been leading seminars in the field for years, and will be guest lecturing at Rutgers in mid-November as well.
In his lectures, Hank has relied mainly on Power Point presentations, but has recently wished to "kick it up a notch." The plan: to produce a three-part documentary series on the topic of flowers and their origins. Hank has already written a script, and production plans will be discussed in the November meetings. A mid-January 2004 date has been planned as a release date.
But that's not where it ends. The boys also hope to work on a project in the winter to experiment with camera and editing tricks, as well as to satisfy their urge for acting and directorial work. No plans have been released as of yet.
Pucciarello also has two current projects on hand: writing a comedy book as well as creating a website. The website, he says, will be "similar, in layout, to that of Charlie Kratovil's with some of the same features but a different overall theme." This should be very intriguing.
