Hello my name is Russ Junkin originally from Erie, PA.

Began school at Vernondale Elementary School in Millcreek Township in Mrs. Wagner's Kindergaten class. Continued through the 4th grade and then went to a private school in Fairview township. In the middle of the 9th grade I moved back to Millcreek school system and finished school at Mcdowell High School in 1982.

August 1982 I entered the U.S. Army and went to Ft. Knox, KY (A Co. 2/1st Training Brigade) for training. I was trained on the M60A1 tank. After finishing training I went to Ft. Riley, KS (B Co. 1/63 Armor). I spent 17 months there. In May 1984 I moved to Mannheim Germany (C Co. 5/77 Armor). Reported for duty on June 22, 1984.

1984 was also the year that I met the most wonderful woman in my life. Although we did not come together until almost a year later. June 86 Michelle and I married. That November our daughter Brandy was born. September 91 our son Jeremy was born.

I work for a German tire company named Seher Reifen und Fahrzeugtechnik. I've been there for 13 years now.
