12. Did you have a favorite pet while growing up? Tell us about your pet(s). If you didn't have one what did you wish for?

I actually am not an animal lover, but I did have pets growing up, but my most favorite was Grandma and Grandpa Harris's dog Ducks. I thought it was funny that Ducks was always trying to get the porcupines and ended up getting the quills stuck in his mouth.

13. Did you haver a favorite family vacation? Tell us something about it.

It is very hard to tell about one of my favorite family vacations. The one that our family took last year was to Washington D.C. It was on Memorial Day Weekend. The way my husband had a going I think we walked over 30 miles during this vacation. It rained every day until the day we left. We saw all the sights and visited all the museums and on the last day before we left to visit Gettysburg on the way home we went to the White House to take some last minute pictures. While we were getting in our car we noticed police starting to block off streets and riding up and down the street we were parked on. Finally one came up to us and told us we needed to stay in our car or on the sidewalk, but not to turn on our car. We really had no idea what was going on, but then we was a motorcade coming, and as we were standing there President and First Lady Bush rode by and waved. We could see Laura Bush better then the President, but it was a great end to our rainy vacation.

15. Do you collect anything? Tell us about your collection or favorite item.

I collect books and I just started to collect Willow Tree figurines. My favorite Willow Tree figurine is the one titled Sister and Brother. It reminds me of my two children Hannah(11) and Liam(19months). I love having books in my home and love the fact that my children will sit and read, and that they find it rewarding to do so.

16. Is there someplace you lived that you especially liked or disliked and why?

I thought that after growing up in New York that I would hate the south, but after living in Texas for 9 years I loved it. After moving back to Buffalo I have missed so much of Houston. I loved the diversity that the city offered and of course the BBQ. Texas is an amazing state and so rich in history, as well as NY. I have learned to like any living situation that I am in and to enjoy it while I can.

17. Tell us about your mother, do you have a special memory of her?

There are so many things I could tell you about my mom, but the one thing that I am thankful for is that my mom taught me to be self sufficient. Now that I am older and have children of my own, my mom has become my best friend. Not that I don't need her as a mother, but our relationship has evolved into something better. I am grateful for her listening ear, her shoulder to cry on and for all the times she was there.

18. Do you have strong political feelings? If so, do you have any idea where you got them? Or if you have no political persuasions, how come?

The political views that I have came from the sincere desire to want to educate myself and having the hope of making a difference in the lives of my family and those around me. I read and listen to all points of views of political sides. My own religious beliefs come into play as I assess my feelings of certain views that either political side might have. I vote Republican and tend to side more with Republican views. I support President Bush and found him to be a great Governor while we were in Texas. I truly believe that educating yourself is the key to being able to make wise decisions in all aspects of your life.

20. Do you have a school experience that really stands out in your mind, either good or bad?

When I was in 4th grade I had a teacher named Mr. Kubanick. I was pretty shy in class and never wanted attention drawn to me. One day our class was walking down the hall and my teacher pulled me to the side and told me that I should probably go to the bathroom and check my dress. I went into the bathroom and looked to find that I was wearing my blue nightgown underneath my dress. Of course the night gown was longer than my dress so everyone saw that I had forgotten to take my night gown off before putting on my dress. I was very embarrassed that I had it on and that it was my teacher who was a guy tell it.
