21. Tell us about your father, do you have a special memory of him?
My father is a quite man, likes to be by himself a lot, especialy when he is fishing or at the shooting club. I remember one time I was doing very bad in math and I couldn't understand the method that the teacher had given us to follow. Papa sat down with me and taught me another way to work the problem and after that I found that math was easy to do and soon I developed a love of math and realized that there might be another way of looking at things.
22. Have you ever witnessed or experienced a fire, flood, disaster or accident? What happened, what did you do, how did you feel about it?
Not that I remember.
23. When you have quiet time what do you like to do?
I like to read and listen to music.
24. Who was the president of the United States when you were born? Who was your favorite president and why?
Ford
was the President when I was born. I don't have a favorite
President.
25. Did your family have any special traditions?
We had a few traditions. I remember our family doing imitations with grandpa and grandma when we had family home evening. Now that I am married I experience every year the polish tradition on Christmas Eve. My husband's family has been celebrating the wigilia every year together since their family came from Poland. Because Thad's mother's family is Catholic we also celebrate Little Christmas on Jan. 6th. We usually give a little gift and enjoy desserts together. These are only a few that we have.
26. How old were you when you learned to drive? Who taught you and what kind of car did you learn on?
I was 16 years old when I learned to drive. My husband taught me when we were dating and I learned to drive in a civic which was a standard. I took my road test in my parents minivan. My dad took me to get my own keys made after I passed and then let me have the car for the rest of the day.
27. What is your first memory of as a child?
My first real memory as a child was when Carrie came home from the hospital after she was born. I remember being so excited to see her and then seeing my mom open her suitcase to give me a winnie the pooh stuffed bear.
28. What did your father and mother do for a living?
My dad
has worked at Grover Cleveland Press for over 30 years and my mom has
worked for Tops as a General Merchandise manger and now as a Front
End Assistant Manager.
29. Have you ever seen or witnessed a miracle?
I would have to say that the only miracle that I have seen was the birth of my two children. That was an amazing and spiritual experience to welcome Hannah and Liam into this world and into our family.
30. What sports do you participate in or watch? Are you enthusiastic about sports or exercising?
I love sports and exercising. I love watching hockey, football, soccer, golf, skating, (well basically every sport except boxing). I get excited for the olympics and when football season starts. I like watching golf with my husband and would like to eventually take golf lessons.
