This is Norman. At only 3 years of age he gained his points for Grand Champion Status. He also made his Australian Champion title at the age of 10 months, winning Best of Breed at the Perth Royal under Cocker Specialist Mr Jack Travers (Ireland). Norman holds a prestigious record of winning Champion Puppy in Show at the Brisbane Royal then backing it up by winning Puppy in Show at the Perth Royal only a month later. He is the only dog to date to perform this feat.
Norman is one of Australia's top Solid Cocker Spaniels. He has won in five different states of Australia with he and his mother having won all of their awards at Metropolitan shows. No country shows EVER!
While in Perth, Norman was unbeaten at every Major show from six months of age. The majority of these wins were under international Gundog and Cocker Specialists. Not only are he and his mother winners, but in Norman's first litter, he produced a wonderful son that is doing extremely well for his owners in Western Australia. Charlie at only 10 months of age was awarded Best of Breed at the Western Classic in Perth.
Norman at 5 years of age gained his US title in only 7 months of showing there and some of these points towards his title were owner handled. He went on to be specialed in the states handled by Nicole Lewis. Many thanks goes to Nicole and her family for everything they did for Norman.
Norman ranked in the top 20 in the US also after only being there for such a short time.
Norman arrive home to Oz, and this made him the first English Cocker in Australia with the title of Australian Grand and American Champion. Well done Norman and thankyou to everyone who has made it possible for Norman to get these fantastic wins and also to get back home.
