MAJOR FUNDRAISING PROGRAMS

In order for our club to continue to offer necessary services in our community, we must raise the funds to support these services. The club's major source of income is through fundraising projects. Our fundraising programs include:

Donations to Lions Park in Downtown Saginaw made through the Saginaw Community Foundation (please see
Lions Park for more information);

Lion Mint Sales located in businesses throughout Saginaw;

White Cane Fund Drive each spring;

Concessions--
Saginaw Spirit hockey games at TheDow Event Center and Friday Night Live summer concert series in Morley Plaza in Downtown Saginaw;

and other fundraising events.

Another very important source of funds for our annual programs are special arrangements that are made through estate planning. Through designations in wills, trusts and insurances, our club has been able to provide services to our community that would have otherwise been impossible.

Please remember the Saginaw Downtown Lions Club when planning your estate!

A big thank you to everyone who came out in support of our annual
WHITE CANE FUND DRIVE! Every dollar our club raises during this project goes to support used eyeglass collection services and supply eye examinations and new eyeglasses in our community. Without your support, it would be impossible for us to provide these needed services.

If you did not have the opportunity to donate to White Cane in person at one of our sites, you may still send your donation to the
Saginaw Downtown Lions Club
P.O. Box 2211
Saginaw, MI 48605

Please mark "White Cane" on the memo line of your check.
Mint sales is an important source of income to support our many community betterment projects.
