| Eta Tau chapter is located at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. The chapter is relatively small and young (installed in 1991) but all of the members work together with a strong sisterly bond. The chapter is prided in excellence and strives to make a difference in the lives of its members as well as the school and community. Eta Tau chapter participates in many different activities of service to the school and community each year. The chapter sponsors the Summer Music Scholarship, a part of the national fraternity service. The chapter also awards a monetary scholarship to an incoming freshman or transfer female with a strong interest and involvement in music each year. Other service activities Eta Tau has done include awarding scholarships to community children for private lessons, working as concert ushers, and organizing a food drive at Thanksgiving. Eta Tau chapter is constantly planning new and exciting activities. Each member is vital to our fraternity and we continually work to achieve more and more. The sisters of Eta Tau hope to further their contributions to the community and school. |
