Q. What does TRSE stand for?
A. It stands for "The Realm of Sailor Energy".
Q. Do you do Aol Messanger/Yahoo Messanger/Dot.com/otherchat?
A. No. I prefer just the emails to keep my schedules well managed,
and I can be online only for limited time each day because my family
need to keep the phone lines free for most for the day.
Q. What's up with the Sailor Moon characters'
names in form of something like "Serena (Usagi Tsukino)"?
A. The name outside ( ) is an English name while the name inside the
( ) is an original Japanese name. Such arrangement is intended to make
my website be flexible with any Sailor Moon & other anime fans either
new or veteran.
Q. Why are there no music/soundtracks on your
website?
A. I am deaf, so I am unable to hear music/soundtrack. Beside, I don't
really need them for my website (and they congest the loading of the pages
too). Same thing goes for Comet Cursors, Plugin, Javas, and animated GIFs
too.
Q. Wow, you're a great website builder! Will you
please help me build my website?!
A. Regrettably no, I'm already busy from running my own website and
working on my projects. All I can do for you is give you some tips.
Beside, you won't be able to learn anything if I build your website with
my own hands. You need to be able to learn to build and maintain a website,
and that can be done by PLAYING with the page building tools such as Netscape
Composer, MicroFront or Pagebuilders.
Questions related to the fanarts & GIFs:
Q. Why do the characters in your fanarts seem
more realistic than that of Anime (shorter legs for example)?
A. I first started to learn how to draw real humans. When Sailor
Moon got hold of my interest, I decided to change my drawing style
from Realism to Anime, and the Realism (and my scientific point of view)
still retains a strong influence on my drawing skills. Beside, the long
legs of the SM characters seem to make them look very silly (and sometimes
stupid) to me, so I prefer shorter legs, and that's what gave me an unique
drawing style. Shorter legs save space too. The characters from Gundam
Wing and Dragonball Z are also drawn in realistic proportions.
Q. How long does it take you to draw a fanart?
A. It depends. It takes about a hour to finish a simple and computer
colored fanart. I tend to do a number of fanarts at a time.
Q. How did you gain the guest fanarts from other
fan artists?
A. There are three ways for me to get the guest fanarts: the artists
submit them to me, I collect them from highly talented fan artists I encounter,
and I trade fanarts with any fan artists who have their own guest fanart
gallery.
Questions related to the fanfiction mangas/comics/djoushini:
Q. Do you have any plans for the fanfic mangas
about the Outer Scouts?
A. I do have some plans for them, but I haven't decided whether to
actually work on them or not. Making such fanfic mangas is a long and hard
work, and takes up a lot of time (two to three months for a 150-page fanfic
manga), so my decision will be based on how many comments I receive, how
impressive their comments are, and those from the fanfiction reviewers.
If you want to have me make the Outer Scouts fanfics, just simply find
me more readers, and get them to make any comments to me. That would be
greatly appreciated. ^_^
Responses to Negative Comments:
C. You draw good, but you don't draw the characters
right!
A. No artist (not even those Japanese artists who worked on SM episodes)
can get their Sailor Moon drawings 100% right. The way each artist draw
is influenced by how skilled they are, their history of practice, and
their preferences (like I prefer shorter legs). Look at Naoko Takeuchi's
artworks, and see how totally different her drawing style is from that
of the Anime. If Naoko T. can draw Sailor Moon in her own style, so can
I. Beside, if all artists are to draw the same, the world of fanarts
would be quite boring.
C. Your website is useless!
A. On the contrary, each website is useful to the right people. Many
people found my website to be very useful, because of its fanarts, fanfictions,
GIFs, tips, How To Draw Tutorials, large collection of links, and museums.
C. Your website sucks/ugly/boring!
A. That's your problem not mine. I designed my website to be very simple
and easily navigable that benefits both visitors and me. Beside, I needed
a simple design of a website that allows me to manipulate the pages in
very short time. Doesn't it seem so easy to go around in my website?
