Ginga no Seisein! Sailor Wars Densetsu / Holy War in the Galaxy! Sailor Wars Legend, Episode #194 in the anime, is an emotionally intense episode. Not only does this episode build up to the Final War with Galaxia, but it also acts as a climax episode between Usagi and Seiya's "love" for each other.

The Starlights become overjoyed after seeing their princess, the Fireball Princess. Their search for their princess comes to an end, but the Fireball Princess tells the Starlights that she had to stay hidden because of her mission. Seiya and the Starlights become confused, but the Fireball Princess begins to explain the Holy War and the current Sailor Wars to Serena and the other Sailor Soldiers. She explains that Sailor Soldiers, born of planets and stars, have been fighting to keep peace until the legendary strongest Sailor Soldier defeated and sealed Chaos. The Fireball Princess explains that Galaxia is trying to steal Star Seeds and bring the whole galaxy back into chaos.

The Fireball Princess states that they still have a chance to defeat Galaxia if they can find the Light of Hope the legendary Soldier left behind. The Princess says that she secretly came to Earth in order to find the Light of Hope, and asks Serena and the scouts to help her find the Light of Hope and seal Chaos again. Serena agrees, but the ongoing clash between the Starlights and the Outer Soldiers bring this agreement to a halt. The Outer Soldiers want to protect their planets and their princess and do not completely trust soldiers from other galaxies, while the Starlights only care to save their planet and people. The Fireball Princess leaves Serena and the scouts to think about her proposal, and leaves with the Starlights.

Now that the Starlights have finished their mission, finding their princess, they retire as pop stars and leave school. The inner scouts, especially Mina, make sure to keep Serena safe by following her around wherever she goes. On the Starlights last day of school, Serena decides to wander off without the scouts onto the school roof, not knowing that there was indeed an evil minion, Sailor Tin Nyanko, who knew Serena's identity as Sailor Moon and was following her around all day. She attacks Serena before she is able to transform, and Seiya, almost mistaken for Tuxedo Mask, comes to the rescue as Sailor Starlight. Sailor Starlight wins and Sailor Tin Nyanko goes away.

Usagi, heart broken that Mamoru does not contact her, finally breaks down at the end of the episode: screaming for Mamoru and admitting that she cannot handle her sorrow alone anymore. During this powerful scene, Seiya cannot control his own "feelings" for Usagi anymore and asks her "Am I not good enough?" Usagi, speechless, blushes and does not reply. Usagi's hesitant answer, or rather her speechless reply to Seiya's infamous question, sparks hints to Usagi's own feelings. Usagi does have greater feelings for Mamoru and will end up with him, but this episode makes it apparent that Usagi does, or at least had LOVE for Seiya too.
