		You can learn how to dance (better) by taking lessons. Local instructors teach the on-1 and on-2 styles -- some for a fee, others for free -- at nightclubs in the metropolitan DC area and at local studios. To learn turn patterns, technique, styling, footwork and shines, consider taking a series of lessons at a studio. Send us e-mail with your questions and suggestions about learning to dance, or for directions and details for local classes. Here are a few lessons to try. A location in italics indicates a free lesson, though there may be a cover charge.
