I was unable to use most of the tubes I have downloaded, so I haven't been using tubes much. I finally discoverd that they need to be introduced to psp by bringing them up in psp, using the "File" tab at the left corner of psp. If the tube consists of just a single image, all you need to do is make sure your image is active, go to "File", "export to tubes", give it a name, and that should do it. If you have multiple images in a tube, you really should separate them and enter them one at a time as single images so they are ready to use. To do that, duplicate your image as many times as you have images, plus one, then delete your original image. You can duplicate by going to "Windows" and using "duplicate" in the dropdown menu. Use your "selections" tool to select an image for tubing, go to "image", "crop", then make sure that the newly cropped image is active, go to "File', "export tube", name it, click "OK" and you are done with that one. Go back and do the rest of the images in that tube the same way and they will be ready for use when you want them. If you have a tube you want to leave with multiple images, I will try to explain how to do that later. Another thing about tubes, they don't NEED to be put in PSP and the way I figure it, the less you have in there, maybe the less trouble you will have with it. So, I have my tubes in a folder labeled TUBES on my desktop. Having your folder on your desktop makes it easy to move your tubes so you can keep the number of tubes at a minimum and when they have to load each time you click on the tube tool to use it the load time will be reduced to a minimum. When you make your surplus folder on your desktop to put extra tubes in, don't label it tubes, give it a name like tubes_2 or anything else because even tho it may be burried in another folder PSP will find it. |
