sans arc is now a project that *attempts* to create slow, dense, atmospheric, and moving music that will immerse listeners in layers of sound consisting mainly of (many) guitars, bass, synth, programmed and looped drums, vocals and numerous other common and uncommon instruments.
in april of 2003, sans arc released the first album in this new style - a 6 song ep called 'a remote view.'
by the summer of 2003, sans arc had decided to start a new album, which would actually be the first in a series of 5 albums that would tell a story too complicated to fit a synopsis of in a small bio. this first full album, released in august of 2003, is called 'irradiate' and consists of 14 tracks that are all interwoven and mixed to flow from one to the next in an effort to make it a more cohesive whole. all 5 albums featured in this series of story sections will be similarly mixed and recorded.
