JOHANN PAULUS PLATZ is the first PLATZ that I have found in my line. He was born in Germany and emmigrated to America via the ship NEPTUNE. The Neptune left ROTTERDAM, HOLLAND and sailed for PENNSYLVANIA. It arrived September 24, 1753. He came with his wife, SUSAN UNKNOWN. They had at least 2 sons, ADAM & PHILLIP. I know that Adam also came over with them. Susan was previoulsy married to UNKNOWN SIMS. They had a son, JOHN CASPER SIMS.
Johann's father was FRIEDRICH EBERHARD PLATZ(KE). His wife was MARIA WENDTEN. I do not know if they had more children. At this time I really know nothing about them and I am not sure about the Platzke. I don't think they ever moved to America. I am not sure but Friedrich may have made a trip over here.
