Returned to Duty: 22 Mar 1865. Note: Card is headed: Pvt, Co. F, 4th Res, but 5th SC Res has been penciled in. In 1907, his name appeared on an Abbeville County listing of Confederate Veterans as a member of the following unit: Pvt., Co "G" 2nd Battalion Reserves with the notations, Age 45 and dead. He was at Columbia and Charlotte, NC.

Moore, Harlston Perrin ( W. P. ), married Martha "Mattie" E. Lewis while on furlough on 3 January 1865. They moved to Texas in 1877 and their family eventually numbered nine children, including Kirby Runion Moore. He died on 12 December 1921.

Pickens, Robert Welborn, was born 31 Aug 1847, in Anderson County, the son of Colonel William Smith and Julia Ann Welborn Pickens. He married Mary Catherine Wiggington on 30 March 1871, and they had nine children. Robert died 19 Feb 1948 in Easley, Pickens County, after his one hundredth birthday in 1947, having become the region's oldest living Confederate veteran. He is buried in Pickens Chapel, Anderson County, SC
