Green Rules
These are minor offenses will usually result in a warning or lecture issued by an officer or leader.
Yellow Rules
These are moderate offenses that will result in a cease-and-desist order and/or kick from channel and/or temporary ban and/or lecture from an officer or leader.
Red Rules
These are severe rule violations that will result in a permanent and immediate ban. All rule violations of this sort must be reported to a leader ASAP for a final decision. If enforced by an officer, the decision may be appealed to a leader. All decisions on red rules by a leader are final.
1. Skill is not the #1 priority in this clan. Do not put other people down when you lose an AT game or win a 1vs1. Be graceful in defeat and humble in victory. If you constantly whine and moan about your fellow clan members you will become quickly disliked as well as giving the clan a bad name.
2. Meeting attendance isn’t required, but it is frowned upon when you constantly don’t show up. Please try to show up and be apart of clan meetings, events, tourneys, etc. It will greatly increase your popularity in the clan and your image making it much easier for you to talk, game, and generally feel comfortable around other clan members. Meetings are every Sunday night at 8:00pm Eastern Time. Other clan events are announced on the main page of the clan site: http://www.clanlocs.tk
3. Have fun. A clan isn’t supposed to be a “Hastle”. If you’re not having fun perhaps you belong somewhere else. If you wish to leave LoC, please notify a leader by email or in person, so that you can be removed from the roster.
4. This may not be “Real Life”, but there are people on the other side of the computer so please be respectful to all other clan members. Any members who constantly disrespect other clan members will be banned. It simply won’t be tolerated.
5. You cannot wear another tag while being in LoC. This includes smurf names, practice accounts, or w/e. Anybody caught wearing a different tag will be suspended. Tags are not mandatory in your name because of bnet’s clan support features, but still try to include LoC_ in your name if you decide to create a new account when you join the clan.
6. Spamming is not tolerated. Neither is using /me during meetings. Spamming is very annoying, and is not tolerated for obvious reasons. /me is perfectly fine for everyone to use, EXCEPT during meetings. During meetings only leaders and those appointed by them are allowed to use /me. This is to ensure that everyone hears what leaders are saying during meetings.
7. Disregarding orders issued by leaders or officers is not appreciated. Please follow all orders issued by a leader or officer. Feel free to ask questions (e.g. “why do you want me to do that?”), so long as you do follow the order(s). It is rare for leaders and/or officers to issue an order without an important reason. If for some reason you feel the order to be unreasonable, take a screenshot and contact LoC_Blackreaver with an explanation of the situation.
8. Only people designated by a clan leader can recruit. Feel free to scout out people and bring them before a clan recruiter. I appreciate it when people do this. :) However, please don’t recruit people, as this can have undesirable results. Recruiters are given special training so that they know everything they need to tell new recruits, how to tryout them, and what sort of people are “persona non grata” and shouldn’t be recruited.
9. LoC_ is 100% against cheating, aka “hacking”. Any clan member caught cheating will be immediately expelled, permanently banned from the channel, reported to blizzard entertainment, and possibly suffer further punishment, at the leaders discretion. Non-members will be permanently banned from the channel.
10. Anyone who starts a clan war or attempts to start one will be banned. LoC is not a warring clan. We enter clan wars only in response to a malicious attack by another clan or person.
