Monika has had her gift since the age of 3. She has been singing ever since then. As a teenager Monika wanted to go solo and be the next Whitney Houston or Janet Jackson, But her opportunity never came. It has been a dream of Monika to be a singer and she knew that she had to persue them... even if she had to go away from her daughter.
Yes, Monika has a child, but she didn't let that stand in her way of her hopes and dreams, just like any mother should. She was determined to be a singer and wouldn't let anything stand in her way. Her reasoning was right, and she made it! She is now about to embark on a journey to stardom!
It has been the hardest thing for Monika to be away from her daughter, but she knows that she has to do to it for her daughter's future. Monika's daughter's name is Simone. Simone is only a one year old and not being near her mother at these hardest times is the hardest thing for a child, but if Monika wants to support her child, she has to persue her dreams.
