Because of current WA State Laws inhibiting the number of dogs that can be kept on any property, and sometimes the chosen dog just doesn't work out, these more mature Salukis are placed into loving situations often to play a different role in their lives or give love to a more suitable family situation.

Salukis of all ages are sometime available as rescues through the auspices of a special lady in Victoria - Pam Adams.  Pam is dedicated to rescueing Salukis across Australia, from pounds and other animal shelters/holding facilities.   If you feel you would be able to give a home to one of these very needy Salukis, or just need to find out more, you can contact Pam direct, by email by clicking  H E R E       Pam could use cash donations for the costs involved with rescueing Salukis in need.  If that's something you think you would like to do - let her know via the link above.
