Reverse
Contains: 11 sticks/pouch x 2 pouches = 22 sticks
Intended Flavor: "crispy cocoa biscuit stick outside, soft chocolate inside"
Review Date: October 9, 2004

Reverse is Glico's answer to Lotte's Toppo, a line of biscuit tubes with creamy filling. It isn't technically Pocky, but we can see what it's the reverse of quite easily. It also happens to be an exceptionally delicious snack. It tastes like a perfect combination of dark and milk chocolate, just mild enough that you really want to eat the entire stick fast.

Complementing its flavor, Reverse has the most remarkable texture I have ever found in a Glico product. The stick is very crispy when you bite it off, but has a creamy give when you chew it thanks to the soft chocolate inside. It's hard to describe, but it feels great. Not enough candies put this kind of emphasis on a unique texture.

Buy it, love it, don't call it Pocky. This really is a snack that sets itself apart.
