Fudge Brownies

4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1 c. margarine, softened
2 c. sugar
3 lg. eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
¾ c. walnuts, chopped
1 pinch salt


In a small pot, melt the chocolate and ½ c. margarine over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.  Let cool completely.

In a medium pot, cream together the remaining margarine and sugar until smooth.  Add eggs, one at a time, and mix well after each egg.  Stir in vanilla and chocolate mixture.  Add flour and pinch of salt.  Stir well.  Stir in walnuts.

Pour into a greased and floured 13x9x2 pan, and bake in a box oven at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.  Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
