| 2007 Annual Knight Mason's Banquet |

| The Annual Knight Masons' Banquet was held at the New Bern Golf and Country Club on Saturday, March
3, 2007. The attendance was excellent with 36 Knight Masons and guests
attending, including several visiting Knight Masons and invited guests. Among the Council's members present were
two Grand Chapter officers, together with
three Grand Council officers, three Grand Commandery officers, and two Past Grand High Priests, a Past Grand Master, and
one Past Grand Commander. A superb dinner of Pork Tenderloin and Pan Seared Tuna was enjoyed by all, together with the traditional toasts presented by the Council officers. The wines used in the toasts were from a winery located within the Council's jurisdiction, which added a unique touch to the evening. The Excellent Chief, Donald R. Manweiler, served as the Master of Ceremonies for the evening. The Excellent Chief then presented our cousin Warren Taylor with his Past Chief's Certificate. The Annual Knight Masons' Banquet has been showing a steady increase in attendance each year, with almost 50% of its membership attending the last five Banquets, and SENCLand Council No. 42 is proud of its membership and activities. The next Annual Banquet will be held at the New Bern Golf and Country Club in March of 2008. |
