GRAMMAR NOTES ARTICLES (a/an/the) İngilizce’de cins isimler tek başlarına kullanılmazlar. Başlarında eğer bir sahiplik ya da işaret sıfatı yoksa, “a / an” sözcüklerini alırlar. Bu sözcükler “bir”, “herhangi bir” anlamına gelir. Give me a pen. Bana bir kalem verin. I need an umbrella. Bir şemsiyeye ihtiyacım var. There is a man in front of the house. Give me the pen. Kalemi bana ver. I need the umbrella. Şemsiyeye ihtiyacım var. (Hangi şemsiyeden bahsettiğimi biliyorsun.)
