Kanna doesn't manage to steal Kagome's soul. Inuyasha does the Wind's Scar on Naraku, Kagura, and Kanna. But Kanna reflects the Wind's Scar back at Inuyasha and it almost kills him. Kagome shoots an arrow at them and Kanna trys to reflect the arrow back at her, but it goes into the mirror and releases all the souls. Naraku tells Inuyasha that Kikyo gave him the jewel shards and Inuyasha isn't sure if its true.
Inuyasha fights Gosinki, the 3rd reincarnation of Naraku. Gosinki can read minds and already knows every attack Inuyasha will do before he makes it. Gosinki then bites Tetsusaiga in half and almost kills Inuyasha. Gosinki starts to eat Kagome, when Inuyasha cuts his arm off. Gosinki can't understand whats happened. He can't read Inuyasha's mind anymore and Inuyasha is giving off the scent of a pure blooded demon, even though he's only a half demon. Inuyasha's demon blood has awoken. Kagome sits Inuyasha and he returns to normal, but can't remember what happened.
Sesshoumaru shows up and has Kaijinbo make a sword out of Gosinki's fangs. Kaijinbo is then possessed by the sword and goes after Inuyasha. Unlucky its the new moon and Inuyasha is in his human form. Will Inuyasha be able to beat Kaijinbo and survive in his human form til the sun rises?!
Inuyasha defeats Kaijinbo and becomes a half demon again when the sun rises. Sesshoumaru comes and pulls the sword Tokijin out and weilds it against Inuyasha!
Juromaru and Kageromaru are the 4th and 5th reincarnations of Naraku and they come at Inuyasha and Koga like a tag team.
Naraku goes after Kikyo because he is trying to prove he can kill her even if he still has Onigumo's heart. Inuyasha saves Kikyo and they hug under a tree. Inuyasha tells Kikyo that he is the only one who can protect her and that he won't let Naraku have her. Kagome back from the present era sees this and is heart broken.
Kagome returns to her era since Inuyasha has chosen Kikyo over her. Inuyasha decides he shouldn't her see Kagome again. Kagome in the present is thinking it over and decides to come back because she misses Inuyasha even if he has chosen Kikyo.
Kohaku shows up and him & Sango are finally reunited, but Kohaku can't remember anything about Sango or his past life!
Naraku comes after Kohaku's jewel shard and him and Kagome flee into the forest. Then Kohaku is ordered to kill Kagome by Naraku. Sango almost kills Kohaku because she believes it is the only way to him from Naraku's control. But Inuyasha stops her because Kohaku is still in there because he defied Naraku's orders. He didn't kill Kagome.
Inuyasha and Miroku come apon a village being attacked by bandits. The leader of the bandits is the moth demon Gatenmaru. Gatenmaru locks Inuyasha and Miroku into a poisoned cacoon. Where Miroku puts up a barrier to protect them from the poison, but the barrier isn't going to hold forever. What are the going to do?!
Inuyasha goes full demon and blows the cacoon apart. Inuyasha slays Gatenmaru easily and then starts killing the bandits who are begging for their lives. Sesshomaru shows up and fights Inuyasha who is still in crazed demon form. Sesshomaru brings Inuyasha down and he returns to normal.
Inuyasha wants to make Tetsusaiga lighter. To do so he has to kill Ryuukotsusei, a huge dragon demon. This demon in fact is literally what killed Inuyasha's Father.
Inuyasha goes full demon and appears to almost kill Ryuukotsusei, but the demon can not die until he is hacked into pieces. Inuyasha does the Wind's Scar, but it doesn't work. Ryuukotsusei then shoots a huge ball of lighting at Inuyasha who does the Backlash wave at it, destroying the demon. Tetsusaiga is now lighter and Inuyasha can do the Wind's Scar any time he wants.
