Koga is at Naraku's castle, after Inuyasha & Sesshomaru were fighting. A huge demon hairball shows up and starts attacking. A girl wolf demon shows up named Ayame. She says that Koga promised to marry her. Koga says he doesn't remember this and is with Kagome. Kagome tells Ayame this is entirely untrue. Inuyasha is getting jealous in the background because Koga is touching Kagome. The hairball demon attacks them for the shikon shards and they learn that Naraku abandoned this demon from his body. They ask where Naraku has gone, but all it says is that Naraku has gone to a place which can never be found.
Ayame relates her story about when Koga rescued her as a kid and promised on the the night of the rainbow moon if it becomes to much for her she should come and marry him. Koga does eventually remember this, but doesn't say he does since he still wants Kagome. Ayame promises to come back later for him and that she is not giving up.
A ghost is attacking a village. Can Inuyasha and co. figure out how to stop it when their weapons pass right through it!?

Kikyo goes in search of "the place that can not be found" where Naraku is hiding. She meets a dying bandit who knows Onigumo. The bandit tells her his story of how Onigumo came to have such serious burns on his body.
