The faceless man now has a face. He starts having strange memories of Onigumo and Kikyo.
Naraku comes after Onigumo and trys to absorb him, but he will not go willingly. Inuyasha uses the Wind's Scar, but it won't cut through Naraku's Barrier.
Inuyasha goes to Toutosai to see if he knows a way to break through Naraku's Barrier. But it turns out that Inuyasha's training is just a way for Toutosai to have a bath. Later Toutosai tells Inuyasha that if he kills a certain bat demon, Tetsusaiga will have the power to break barriers.
The one Inuyasha needs to kill to have the power to break barriers is Shiori. Shiori is a half demon and can make barriers which her grandpa uses to hide behind while he attacks Inuyasha!
Inuyasha can't break Shiori's barrier, so he has to rely on Shiori to take revenge for her father's death. Inuyasha cuts the red globe that Shiori uses to make barriers and gains the power to break barriers. When this happens Tetsusaiga turns red.
Kagome is kidnapped by cat demons and they tell Inuyasha if he wants her back to come to the castle and fight. Sesshomaru is also told to come to the castle. Inuyasha and Koga track the cats down, but they escape with Kagome behind a barrier, Inuyasha pulls out Tetsusaiga, it turns red and he blasts the barrier out of the way.
Sesshomaru and Inuyasha show up at the castle. We learn one of the reason's Sesshomaru doesn't like Inuyasha because Sesshomaru and his father fought the cat demons once, and Inuyasha wasn't around to help because he was still sealed to the tree by Kikyo. Inuyasha learns the cat demons plan to use Kagome and the villagers as sacrifices to reserect their leader, who was killed by Inuyasha's father.
Inuyasha stops them from sacrificing Kagome and the zombie cat leader absorbs all the cat demons except one. Sesshomaru pulls out Tenseiga and releases the cat demons trapped inside the zombie leader. Inuyasha then does the Wind's Scar and destroyes the zombie cat.
Sango is asked to destroy a demon for some Lord. This Lord remembers Sango there before destroying another demon and falls in love with her. Miroku gets very jealous, but doesn't say anything. Sango decides to stay with Inuyasha and the group.
Rin asks what Jaken does thats useful to Sesshomaru, and Jaken can't think of anything at first. Then he decides to steal Tetsusaiga for Sesshomaru because thats being useful. Jaken trys all kinds of funny tricks to get Tetsusaiga, but fails in the end.
Naraku kiddnapps Rin in hopes that he can manipuliate Sesshomaru with her. Sesshomaru comes to his castle and they start fighting. Meanwhile, Rin is being gaurded by Kohaku and talks to him.
Naraku is trying to asorb Sesshomaru and it looks like he does. Then Inuyasha shows up and uses the Red Tetsusaiga to break Naraku's barrier. Naraku gets a surprize and is almost killed by Inuyasha. Sesshomaru breaks out and Naraku retreats. While Naraku is retreating Sesshomaru yells up to him, his eyes going demonic red, "You think you can play games with me!" But naraku tells Sesshomaru he should be looking for Rin because she probably isn't going to be alive much longer. Kohaku is ordered to kill Rin and trys to, but Sesshomaru shows up and almost kills Kohaku, but stops for some reason.
Inuyasha comes back to the present with Kagome and they hang out there. They try to take some pictures in a photo booth,but Inuyasha goes wack and starts destroying it. Kagome says' "SIT BOY"
