To some, I am a man just like everybody else. But to some, I am of their kind. For a start, I won't be using the word "Vampire" but "Vampyre". Many might argue that its a name re-spelled for games and role-plays but I think otherwise.

My name is DiamondFangs. The webmaster of this site. Living in Singapore and having to go after the truth about Vampyrism over the past 9-10 years is indeed a challenging journey. Some might wonder, what can a 23 year old man can do when he have not seen half of his life gone by. To them, I wish to say that age is just a number. The experience that one goes through in life and the  mentality speaks louder, regardless of the age. I am just like everyone else. I eat ( normal food), drink (not blood), and sleep (at night) just like everyone.

What amazes me is the misleading theories that others have in their mind and sadly sometimes found on the internet itself. So, why have I chose this path, some might ask? All I can say is that my instincts brought me to this path. And I would like everyone to know, including the ones who thinks that Vampyrism is the study of Black Magick and or linked Satanic Rituals that, there have been no recorded information about Vampyres in any rituals. Vampyrism is NEVER in anyway is associated with Satanic Cults.

Yes, there have been cases reported world wide about Vampire Killings and how of a boy killed his own mother to eat her heart and so that he can be an Immortal. I only like to say that, no Vampyre is an Immortal. All Vampyres die, just like humans do. And for the reports go, I wonder why everytime there is a bizzare murder somewhere in the world, they conclude it to Vampyrism. Like everyone says, never believe Tabloids. They are nothing but giving bad names to Vampyres alike.

To everyone out there, just a reminder - Whatever thoughts you had about Vampyres after watching movies or reading some book, all I can say is, they are nothing but lies. Hollywood is indeed making money by having their wild imagination of the directors to portray a Vampyre into something that even Mankind never thought of. There only myths about Vampyres, and rarely facts surface. Its a marketting gimmick, and the suspense of Vampyres will always captivate audiences or readers alike.

I will tell all about that in another section on my webpage - The facts about Vampyres that is. For now, I will tell you the reason why I am here to share something taboo. The secrets of Vampyres. So what is Vampyrism in Singapore? Its the way of life of a person, acting under the code of life of the forbidden knowledge. In Singapore, there are not many Vampyres as we speak, and most of the time, they keep things to themselves. The first fear that strikes in their mind is getting in trouble with the law. If you ask me, Vampyrism has no rituals, no sacrifices of humans or animals, no blood letting, no mass orgies, Vampyres don't have a God to worship and most importantly - Vampyrism is NOT a religion. So why are we afraid? Its because of the misconception of many that is portraying us wrongly. No one wants to get into trouble with the law, especially in Singapore. To add to that, Vampyres or Vampyrism is not related to anything illegal.

I am here to remove the fears from the Vampyres in Singapore. I can't say for sure who is a Vampyre and who is not. 3 million people and counting, its hard to tell. We don't have an organization, we don't hang around together and preach. Each Vampyre has his own way to live and die but always have believed in the forbidden knowledge to help themselves to go on another day. In my years on this field, I have came upon hundreds of books, movies, stories and people who proclaim themselves to be Vampires. I will take this opportunity to enlighten to the many out there who are having the wrong facts about vampyres. In Singapore - only the curious comes forward.

I was born just like every other child - with of course with another history behind it. To make the story short, I will give a brief introduction about my life. At a tender age, I knew something about me, deep inside was something not right. As years went by, I wanted to know who I was or why I am here. Instincts played a big part in my life and here I am and proud to be who I am today. Took me close to 10 years to have the courage to speak out and express my inner emotions. To some who are close to me, they know what I am and they have no problems with it. Basically because, I think they knew the facts about Vampyres through me. The fear and the misconception they had about Vampyres before have been cleared. I don't go around sucking blood from strangers to survive. I can even walk in daylight without being burned. I am just like Humans. Living and breathing and waiting just like everyone else, for the time to come to rest in peace.

I have a life, a family, friends and I have my own religion. The religion that I have faith in doesn't have anything to do with the code of life of a Vampyre. Vampyrism is a sub-culture, a culture where only you face the world with a better understanding to life. So how do you know if you are a Vampyre ? Or some might ask where do one seek the forbidden knowledge. There is only one answer to it - The day you knew and understood yourself better than anyone else, the day you knew that your instincts are strong and the day those instincts bring you closer - That will be the time you shall find the truth of who you are, within yourself.
